be careful and do your research on wiring, this is where you can cause problems either with substandard install or problematic product

I think that's why "EdAlex" is considering the Curt hitch kit it comes with Plug and Play wiring harness. Which may be better than the Ford harness.

Now if you would really like to clean up the looks of where the hitch goes you can also buy one of these cover panels from Mabett $26 before the hitch is installed.
Give it to your install guy and he can put it in after he's done installing the hitch. Remind him to use painters tape around the edges of it so it doesn't get marked up.

Or. You can save some money by using the blank panel in the middle of your bumper that they're going to remove to install your bumper
If you are handy and have a Dremel type cutout tool. You can cut the area of the hitch out by hand and install it. It does look a little nicer and the dimensions are listed on the forum.
When cut properly the blank from the middle of your bumper should look like the one pictured below.

The product fits fine and will mount.
It isn't easy. You have to take your time and work slowly with it. Have patience that's why you tape up all of the sides and front on it.
Better to do it in warm weather maybe even leave it laying out in the sun for a little bit.
