I don't understand most of the above.
My 8-track tape player in my office at my TEMPORARY WORLD HEADQUARTERS, with the speakers that I bought from a guy in a white van in a Kmart parking lot sounds a lot better than the radio in my Maverick.

I hope I don't have any of these issues when mine arrives, I am still using a 14 year old flip phone & don't have WIFI. My speakers were purchased at Radio Shack!

finally after a second master reset it downloaded and is now installing hopefully it goes thru.

When the update is finished you have to stop the engine, open driver door, lock the car and wait about 5 minutes (it needs complete power off). After this you will see that the unit has the new firmware.

I spent over an hour yesterday trying to get the update to download, only to find out my January delivered Maverick was apparently already on the newest update.

Damn it.

I actually enjoy a Win update while at work... Last one took around 3 hours which means 3 hours of not doing anything.

Not entirely sure if this has been said so sorry if I’m repeating someone. But I can confirm u can update the software from an iPhone hotspot. It notified me that the update installed after I did the master reset (hold radio power button and forward track button simultaneously until screen goes black). No need to restart the whole truck if u don’t want to
