Previous is the one you mentioned. What was the Software Version before the update started?
What is the Software Version that you are downloading?
I just checked for updates and there are no updates available.
I just got my MY2023 Maverick on 9/22/2023 and this is the Software Version currently installed:
Ford Audio Software Version: G2.1.0.1_R22362A
Revision: G.2.1.0.1_Product_GG
This is the firmware that was released Feb 8, 2023.
See here: New Radio Software Update G2.1.0.1_R22362A
When the update completes let us know if the update version is newer than G2.1.0.1_R22362A
A couple of ignition cycles will allow the new version to show (w/o starting vehicle, just turn key off, open & close door and turn ignition back to on, took mine a couple times doing this.)After I received the audio acknowledgement, it still showed the previous version. I performed a hard reset (held power button and skip forward button) and when it came back up I received an "upgrade completed" notification on the screen.
I have never seen release notes for any of the Ford radio updates.I've done some googling but can't find any release notes for this version. Does anyone have a link to them?
Even though it should be blazing fast via your Xfinity, some have avoided all the drama by going to an empty parking lot with good cell signal and just connecting the Mav to your phone via WiFi sharing.Stuck a 0% does not move. Xfinity router 5Ghz, 12 feet away from truck. Any suggestions?
Move it further away. I have found 5Ghz works better when the devices have some space between them. I run two 5Ghz networks in the house: one for IoT devices and one for everything else. My laptop will seem to always have a better connection to the access point further away. No idea why.Stuck a 0% does not move. Xfinity router 5Ghz, 12 feet away from truck. Any suggestions?
