For what it's worth, that battery under thee rear seat in the hybrid IS the regular 12V car battery. The bigger high-voltage battery that actually does the "hybrid stuff" is somewhere else. (Not sure where - I had the EcoBoost)

Depends on the phone I guess - the Pixel 6 Pro is much bigger than my iPhone so I doubt I could fit that in my front pocket. My phone fits, but it does still leave nasty worn rectangles in my jeans after a few months...
