I'm afraid my Maverick was totaled 7 days after receiving it, and so I couldn't tell ya... :( I would probably tap into the USB-c that was directly above that area, if I remember correctly. Not sure if that would make CarPlay act squirrely, however.
The new Ranger appears to have under-seat storage in the rear and no 60/40 split, just like the Maverick. AM I THE ONLY MFER ON EARTH WITH A CARSEAT?!?!?!?
It's a bit of a hack and a waste of filament, but if all else fails you can go into your software and have it print a raft on the bed, and the part prints on top of that. That will help overcome things like poor bed adhesion or improperly leveled bed (although fixing both of those problems is...
For what it's worth, that battery under thee rear seat in the hybrid IS the regular 12V car battery. The bigger high-voltage battery that actually does the "hybrid stuff" is somewhere else. (Not sure where - I had the EcoBoost)
Depends on the phone I guess - the Pixel 6 Pro is much bigger than my iPhone so I doubt I could fit that in my front pocket. My phone fits, but it does still leave nasty worn rectangles in my jeans after a few months...
Probably not what you're looking for, but there's a little AWD screen on the instrument cluster that shows torque applied to each of the 4 wheels in realtime.
Is the replacing of the brake linings on page 4 just a copy/paste error?
After 9 months of waiting I was unfortunately in an accident 7 days after taking delivery. All airbags went off and Maverick called 911 automatically (that's a setting in the infotainment, be sure to set it if you want...
If you find yourself plugging in most of the time to get Android Auto you may be interested in one of those wireless receivers that allow you to get Android Auto without even taking your phone out of your pocket. I don't have a specific one to recommend b/c mine's for Apple Car Play but I know...
Physical size is decent, but my only gripe is that if you have only a single carseat you've just nuked your only "weatherproof storage" which is the tub under the rear seat. I know they were keeping costs down, but not having a 60/40 split bench is a huge oversight. Before anyone says tonneau...
With half the towing capacity* and half the number of driven wheels*
*When properly optioned of course
Don't mean to pick; I do absolutely think the base model Maverick hybrid is an absolute steal, it just came across like it was a no-compromise no-brainier and there's certainly a market need...
I misread this question but interpret it as "How much more cooling is required?" as in: This one is twice the size of OEM, but if I made one even twice the size of yours... is it better, or are there quickly diminishing returns?
Genuine question since I've never done boating: Instead of putting ANY expensive vehicle on a slippery ramp, is it feasible to use chains / tow straps of some sort to just stay the hell away from the water? Not like 100 ft, just enough to get to the top/dry part of the ramp. Or it that just...
