I went Bakflip G2. Really impressed with it. Virtually no water leaking even going through the car wash. Whichever you choose, I recommend hopping onto the chat feature at several online shops. tonneaucovered.com, realtruck.com, etc. Let them know that you are shopping around and see if they can...
Ordering through ford acccessories has free shipping to any dealer if you're willing to pick up. They charge if you ship to your home. You can find quality that is greater than/equal to ford accessories for lower prices in a lot of spots however.
Mine is black and I’d say it has soft paint. Way more chips way sooner in ownership than other cars I’ve had. I now carry a paint chip pen to fill them in as they come… not many complaints with the maverick for me but this is one
It’s definitely up to whatever u have heard. Insane swirling wind since they’re tucked right into the mountains. Prolly why they run the option haha
Sorry I responded then didn’t even answer your question haha. The 3M bumpers are meant to protect the rear glass when the tonneau is folded all the way up. If you’re going to drive when the tonneau all the way folded, then I’d consider the bumpers necessary.
I just go every 5000 miles regardless of what the app says. It usually shows I have something like 40% left because I mostly do highway/interstate driving. Oil changes are cheap. The risk/reward ratio of trying to squeeze every mile out of an oil change just isn’t there
I would not be interested. For me, it's a perk that the Maverick is a bit of a blank slate. Similar to how you can get a Bakflip G2 for nearly half the price of the Ford Hard trifold when they are literally the same tonneau. I I like my katzkin seats more than the lariat leather. etc
Definitely a personal choice. Trust your gut. If you see that velocity blue truck and think to yourself "I'd like everyone to see me driving that," then it's worth your money. If instead you think, "my brother would punch me if he saw me in that," then maybe not. I wanted carbonized gray...
Yea I cant find that in writing but I would guess they went with an older version. Several pieces of older tech in the maverick to keep it at that low price point. Since I plug in during my commutes for apple play, I dont charge my phone at any other point in the day. So it's sufficient for sure...
I dunno about the emails because I didn’t order mine. I missed the boat on orders by a couple of days so we called in to locate one that was scheduled to become dealer stock. Once I had a vin number, I was able to call in and ask a rep for the details.
Im 6'1" 175 and sit comfortably In the back row behind the front seat (set at where I drive). My knees brush the seat in front but lots of head space. As for having things around your feet, the maverick could improve your situation. the rear seat flips up and has some storage, and of course you...
I really like the appearance of Dodge vehicles in most cases. Cars and trucks. But that thing looks like a dodge sante cruz. I prefer the boxier look of the maverick by a long shot
Well I have a hybrid, but my real world mpg is really close to the estimated. I get 37/38 on most tanks with a lot of interstate driving. I believe eco boost ppl are getting mid to upper 20s. Clearance may be an issue on beach driving. Plenty of cab space for ppl, dogs and things so no...
I do think there are some good tips on here for sure to get better mpg. As far as tracking the mpg, I wouldn’t place much weight on getting 60 mpg or 15 mpg over a mile long trip. Your tank gets you 500 miles give or take, so one mile doesn’t affect much in the grand scheme of things. I...
