So far it’s been pretty smooth. Everything is a direct swap and the harness plugs are identical. I swapped the 2.0 harness onto the 2.3 just in case but it could probably be fine without.
The Corsair has a 2.0 with an optional 2.3 so I don’t see why they wouldn’t be compatible.
I know the trans is the weak point and I wanted to put a Corsair trans in but my trans only has 4000 miles so I’ll let it ride for now and see what happens.

I tell ya if Ford had a crate motor and manual transmission combo for the 2.3 in rwd, I think alot of people would be doing motor swaps with em in hotrods and such. They are powerful efficient little motors. Imagine dropping a 350hp crate motor in a old Ranger, Fox, or Panther platform. Or even a old Maverick or Pinto. And get +20mpg. It will be cool to see what you get out of it!
I've imagined dropping something like this into a fiberglass bodied '23 roadster. It would be lighter in the front end allowing it to handle nicely and imagine when the turbo spooled up.
Otherwise it would also be a nice upgrade to a T-bird Turbo coupe.

The list can go on and on.... Mustang II, Pinto, Fairmont(coupe, sedan, or wagon), 1st gen Focus Sedan.... Of course, a 300+ hp engine in a Maverick would be completely unexpected.

Yeah this engine would be perfect in my Triumph TR6. British convertible, 4 speed manual, RWD, incredibly light weight with a 300 HP 4 cyl motor would be hell on wheels!
