Payload takes a hit on fully optioned loaded Maverick Lariat!

Considering some of the full size 1/2T lux PU's are under 1000#'s, this doesn't seem that horrible.

Wait, what. Which ones? I'm seeing a lot under 2k, but that's not that unreasonable.

If the Maverick can do 1500 between people and cargo, and the driver weighs 200 and drives alone, it can haul 1300lbs making it effectively a 1/2 ton pickup.

From what I understand, this isn't unusual when it comes to pick-ups and payload.

I don't have receipts, as they say, but much larger trucks have a similar payload reduction when fully optioned.

Check out a max'd out RAM 1500 Limited..... 900# payload. Max'd out F150 Limited barely over 1000, not sure about the GMC, it may be under 1000 as well.

That is amazing. I added a spray in liner, rear slider, moonroof, full spare, and cp360 so I'd assume mine will check in under 1500 but that shouldn't be too much lower

We ordered the same truck except I added the tow hitch.

My 2020 F150 STX 5.0 had a CCC of 2039#, I'm dropping 600# of load capacity that I didn't use and doubling the gas mileage. A fair trade off for me.

1566 lbs for the Maverick Hybrid XLT Base Model with no additional options:

When I woke up I ordered a second XLT and only clicked the 4pin tow receiver option. (Intend to keep both). This will be my fishing rigged option setup to self start and run periodically in case I cannot get away for a month or two.
