If you can, I'd go down there in person with a printout of the memo. You're the customer and there's no reason you can't get answers.

I just... I don't even know WTF is going on any more.

Support just said I have a build date of Jan 9, and it's going to be a MY 22. My Dealer hasn't responded to my question about last week's memo (like, did they get it at all).

And now, the email that I just sent to the sales manager (the person who had been most responsive) bounced - they aren't there anymore. So I've forwarded it to the managing partner, the general sales manager and the general manager. Maybe overkill?
I'm in the same boat. 1/9 but the manager insists I'm getting a '22. In 23. I'm pretty sure they're going to convert it so I'm not making a big stink. These guys are out of their element, they've been towing the company line for so long they are on autopilot. Nothing to do but see how this chapter plays out. Getting pretty tedious.

@Timothyd :cool: There are rust inhibitors and other additives. The guying using the product says they are continually tweaking the product and sending info on the stuff.

I contacted Ford chat today. Looks like they are moving forward with the cancellation process now.
My former '22/formerly scheduled with a VIN is no longer showing for them.
So, I am assuming all of us 1/9 placeholder cancelled orders are officially getting cancelled now.

After that, they can be re-entered as a '23 order. Then our dealers can move us from a priority 99 down. Then Ford can place us at a priority 2.

Fingers are now crossed again.

Likewise, I called Samantha last week. They were unaware of the whole cancellation memo. She told me someone had forwarded them the memo. I will call Monday to make sure, I'm priority 99.

I heard back from my dealer and they are insistent that it will be a 22 and there is no rollover. My order is likely to end up going nowhere because of their incompetence. I didn't place a separate order for a 23 because we kept being told that all scheduled 22's would be built; in hindsight I should have ordered one anyway.
By August of this year I figured my 10/13/21 hybrid XLT order was not going to be built. I did 2023 pre-order with 2 different dealers.
I received a VIN in early September with build date of 9/28/22, moved numerous times and now cancelled.
I felt bad about doing new 2023 orders but it is obvious that Ford is having a problem building the hybrids.
My 2022 dealer has no info on cancelled orders. I spoke with my sales person and the sales manager on October 30th. I mentioned the Ford memo arriving on 10/31 and they had no reaction to that.
I am not confident that I will have a 2023 Mav hybrid built :-(

If you are a my22 order and you have been given A build week of 1/9/23 then your order is being cancelled by Ford and transitioned to my23 given a priority code of 99. From there your dealer has to change the priority code to between 10-19. This is assuming that your dealer did what they were supposed to have done BY 11/9/2022 making sure that they have NO new orders with the same sales code that you had on your order. Contact your dealer and insist that they change your priority code from 99 to a 10. Then wait for information.

@Bear Believe the person applying is as important as the product. The guy I use receives 80 calls a day and is in a metal building. So he gets back to some. Used once in the past but a friend and brother use it. The friend do go somewhere else and found that they missed a number of sports. Hence the reason of feeling the person applying the product is important. Did check the site and if your handy, you could buy the 5 gal and if you have the equipment. Not sure about the spray cans, which are available.
Yea, I did check out the site which is why I want this product. I am pretty handy but I don't have access to a hoist and I don't want to lay on my back spraying this stuff. Plus, I don't have the equipment.

Ordered 10/15/21. Built 9/1/22. Shipped 9/15/22. Been sitting in Kansas City, MO since 10/1/22. Was told by Ford chat on 10/27 it would be delivered on 11/6. On 11/11 I was given a Ford voucher code for up to $750 off if the dealer honors it. Received email last night that my new delivery range is between 11/26 and 12/2. So incredibly frustrating and there is no chance it will be here in that window either.

That sucks but at least you know you have one that will happen eventually.

407 days after ordering, 10 days sitting less than 70 miles away from the dealership at the rail yard and my 2022 Chilli pepper red Hybrid lariat has arrived at the dealership. Wife went by ths morning on her way to work and watched the Truck driver unload it at the dealers lot. Dealer didn't even know it was there as they hadn't opened or arrived yet. Hope to pick it up later on today.
