Chat still absolutely insists that my 22 is being built January 9th 🤣 even though they admitted that "it does appear that some 23s will be built before it 💩🙄

That was nice that you got your truck and that worked out perhaps I should do something like that unless than 300 miles from them I ordered a xlt 23 on the last day with a priority code I’m 19

I contacted Ford chat today. Looks like they are moving forward with the cancellation process now.
My former '22/formerly scheduled with a VIN is no longer showing for them.
So, I am assuming all of us 1/9 placeholder cancelled orders are officially getting cancelled now.

After that, they can be re-entered as a '23 order. Then our dealers can move us from a priority 99 down. Then Ford can place us at a priority 2.

Fingers are now crossed again.

Interesting, I'll check on Monday if my VIN goes away, it's still around right now. When did you initially order?

Reach out to your sales person and see what they are willing to do. You will probably pay over MSRP though so if that is a deal breaker don't bother. I really don't like paying over sticker but we needed something quickly and right now quickly is going to cost you.

Also if your order is an Eco-boost instead of a Hybrid you will almost certainly get built. And if you are willing to take an Eco-boost I'd wait a couple of weeks because I think you'll be able to pickup an Eco-boost at sticker pretty soon.

Doesn’t ford have to recreate the order first as a 302

Wait for them to duplicate your 22 order as a 23. Make sure your dealer doesn't have a 23 order with the same Order Number as your 22 order. Once the 23 order is in there, you need to update the order. Remember that spray in Bedliner, bed rails, and remote start are no longer included in the XLT and Lariat Luxury Package. Also, on the Lariat, Adaptive Cruise Control, Evasive Steering Assist, and Rear Park Sensors are not in the Lariat Luxury Package but in the CoPilot 360 Assist Package.

FYI. Have Ceramic coated mine vehicle last week and got a oil treatment on Monday. Today put on 3 of the Rokblokz mud flaps with on rear one to go. As had help arrive for putting on the Extang 2.0 Tri Fold tonneau cover. The bed extender may wait till spring as bough it for mulch, soil etc and was nervous with the 5 foot bucket on a 4.5 bed. So will use a tarp under and around the the bed extender and back to the tie downs. Only a mile from the nursery.

Wish everyone the best with you Mav and for those still waiting to hopefully come sooner than later.
What's the oil treatment? Is that undercoating?

How much over MSRP did they charge you?

It's a vegetable oil based rust proofing.
FAQ
I'm trying to get the NHOU undercoating but no one has it in my area. The soonest one place can get me in is Jan 2 and the other place doesn't have the supplies! My only option is to drive up North (Traverse City) from Oakland county! This is almost as bad as waiting for my Maverick :(

@Bear Believe the person applying is as important as the product. The guy I use receives 80 calls a day and is in a metal building. So he gets back to some. Used once in the past but a friend and brother use it. The friend do go somewhere else and found that they missed a number of sports. Hence the reason of feeling the person applying the product is important. Did check the site and if your handy, you could buy the 5 gal and if you have the equipment. Not sure about the spray cans, which are available.
