Lots of good info on order stats. See quite a few posts on Jun and Jul with only the confirmation email. Later dates with the same build specs have early build dates. Is color choice a large factor in scheduling?

Here’s my only problem with this entire process. Ford starts a new program where consumers can order a product instead of the dealer stocking it yet they revert to their old “allocation“ system. The consumers that ordered first should get the priority and the hell with “allocating” by size of dealer. The “new” idea for going directly to the consumer is a big dud. They should be throwing out their old system and do FIFO or just go back to the old system and just build stock orders.
Agree. I ordered a first edition Mid July. I have not even received one email from Ford. I check in with my dealership at least monthly. They just received 2 in and I at least got a sneak peak of what they really look like. I did find out I am not at 19 any more, I have moved up to a 2.

Only way you wouldn't get an email sent to you would be if the dealer did not put your information with email address into the order.
My dealership said they put my email in and confirm it every time I stop in. Plus I called ford back end of August and they even confirmed it. I have yet to receive any emails other than welcome to Ford with sales ads.

This situation kinda blows away a lot of Ford Fan Boys who think the company cares about them. It shows that Job One for all corporations is to make profit for the shareholders. The buck come first and always will. Since September 1st I’ve heard nothing from my dealer except that I will get my truck (and I probably will…..someday). Now, with orders for the year closed out, my 2022 is likely to be rated as 2022 1/2. I’m not going to expect Ford to cut me a deal because my truck will be a half year old when I drive off the lot. Lots of lessons learned here.

Kind of expected long delays as the dealer said 8-12 weeks. Perhaps it will be 8 months as ordered Oct 24th. Actually was hoping for delivery after winter.
I ordered at the end of August. Dealer says by the time I get it, it might be a 2024 model.

So for all the comments above…..did any one put a deposit down? And if so does a deposit applied to the price make a difference in when the truck is scheduled/built?

No none at all. He actually helped me get a $750 discount through my husband's work that we didn't know was available. I don't see anyone on Michigan doing mark ups. I just think that is horrible customer service especially those doing$7000 to even $10,000 mark ups.
I have yet to see any markups in Michigan either. It makes sense as just about everybody who walks into a Ford dealer has some sort of employee pricing. They wouldn't last long here if they were selling above MSRP.

I always thought of myself as a patient person, you know, good things come to those who wait kind of guy. But this is really testing me. Ordered 1st week of August, order confirmed within a hour then nothing....crickets, nothing from dealer, nothing from Ford, at least the Bronco order has given me a production date & 2 pushed dates !
Same here! Ordered in mid August and haven’t heard a word from anyone! Had to call my sales rep at dealership to try and get info but he doesn’t know anything either.

or your ford account has email set to opt out of emails from Ford. I keep setting to opt out without actually requesting to opt out.

I put a $500 deposit down June 16 for a June 13 reservation, got the confirmation email on June 16. I haven't been scheduled yet.

Same here. Ordered my hybrid XLT first week of July and have heard nothing. Now I read threads where guys have bought a 2.0 off dealer stock. WTF?

I ordered an EB XLT no deposit on 9/22 got conformation same day from Ford, on 9/23 email from Ford with vin# and production date of 11/15. I know unbelievable! Since then I have had three more emails from Ford pushing me back a week at a time to my current build week of 12/6. I hear from Ford, but i don’t contact the dealer nor does he contact me. When I ordered they told me I was #45 that had placed order through theor dealership. There are a total of three Ford dealers in Wichita. I feel very fortunate that I am where I am in the process!
