I'm considering getting a NOCO Genius to maintain my AGM battery in my new XLT. Do the '25 models have the same battery issues as earlier models? Is a maintainer necessary or just advisable?

The 25MY has way more electronics than the pre-25MY's?The new models have way more electronics, so battery issues can pop up more often.
But if you’re driving it a fair amount every week, I’d say you probably don’t need a maintainer.
From all the reports on forums Ford has done nothing to solve the chronic undercharging situation with the 12v battery in the hybrid Maverick. They have blown past two dates that they had promised to release a fix by and now there is no public word for them when the problem will be fixed.I'm considering getting a NOCO Genius to maintain my AGM battery in my new XLT. Well - it is a "feature" to keep what appears a low battery from getting worse so you indeed can start it.Well the truck turned off the interior lights again on me but everything comes right up when you hit the start button -Been about a week since we drove it.
Doesn't seem to be related to battery charge (I have had a maintainer on it showing 100%).
Once again, I don't think it is a bug, but a feature. Never had a vehicle do that before though.
You wouldn't get any alert because the Ford "engineers" (term used loosely), in their infinite "wisdom", shut off any ability to get notification of the deep sleep problem status, or access the vehicle via FordPass app.Guessing it's just a time-based function. I don't recall opening the doors recently but it is possible... probably been about 5 days or so since I last messed with the truck (added the quick connect to the power terminals under the hood).
FWIW the hood is left open and an extra key fob is about 10' away hanging on the wall in the garage though I don't know if either of those items would effect the way the truck goes into the sleep mode.
There's no indication or alert or message when it does this, so I assume it's just a time-based function.
