Good day,
Make that at least three of us have been wondering!
I hope it isn't too much to push it to our 2025 awd hybrid owners, as the awd capability expansion can be a real helper in inclement (winter especially for me).
Thanks for asking for all of us!
Andy
It is a good idea to get your own tire tread depth guage (very cheap, only a few dollars at most automotive retailers). Then you can be more informed as to the actual tread depth vs driving and hoping it will all be okay in all westher conditions.
You then can also be informed as to your...
Good day
I feel you need to get a tire depth guage (they are cheap), or ask for the treadmill depth...they are probably down to 4/32" depth...
At 4/32" I look for tires and for sure to change before end October (I live in Manitoba).
I believe you are in Michigan, which is why I...
Good day
We purchased the Mabett sunshade and my wife simply cut the center part more deeply, which was already cut a bit.
She then sewed a cover edging over the fresh cuts on each side, so they look the same as what was already there.
You just have to make sure you cut far enough so...
Good day
My app is working properly again, displaying the fuel remaining etc as it should.
I did not delete or uninstall the app, the info just repopulated. But for some, they may need to uninstall the app and reinstall, to get the update and get their info back as well.
Not a problem...
Good day
Some of the info may be outdated, but the important message (especially those not used to critical thinking or even thinking in general), is that everyone that is looking to getting a replacement vehicle, that they need to examine their own needs and use case.
The video even gives...
Good day
I posted it earlier in this thread, but on a road/day/fishing trip we had the same indication on our plug in voltage indicator...we were hundreds of km's into the run and suddenly the voltage dropped to 12.8-ish volts.
I flicked the park lights on and voltage went right back up...
Good day
Hmmm, not ideal, not starting every time.
If you don't have a multi-meter to check your battery voltage, you have no idea of its state/condition. You do not mention one so will assume you do not.
So, here is my suggestion...take your truck to your local fav mechanic or your...
Good post, as some people don't know what the need...they only think they know what they want.
I completely agree and have been saying it when possible, look at your needs and realize what you actually do NEED vs what you imagine yourself doing (a,-la-normal-truck-advertising...cue roaring...
Yes, those modules have been an issue as seen in earlier threads, relating to sudden battery drain.
I am glad they did the updates to your modules!
I myself would err on the side of caution and do a deep battery recharge and then do the BMS RESET, just to make sure you get the best...
Good day @adjayhawk
If you haven't done a search yet here on MTC, about 12 volt topics...lots to see!
Begin with this very long thread (read the beginning and skim for pertinent 12 volt questions and answers).
Long story short, till you read up on it, turn your headlights or park lights...
My scrape, we had an ice storm approaching, when we were posted to Shearwater NS.
I was backing my 1988 F100 step side into the wee garage our PMQ had, and "found" the metal garage door support arm...scrsped all down the side of the box...
As many have stated, it is distressing, but it...
Good day @RFEJR and @Lone Ridr
I used the strobing several times Fanteli light only for the 3rd brake light. No problems after over a year of being installed for all my lights, though my LED signal lights do make my turn indicator inside the cab hyper click...the exterior signal lights...
To be honest
.I thought it was a turkey myself, until I clicked on the photo, blew it up to max size and went...that definitely is not a turkey!
To be honest, I did grab my reading glasses to try and see it better.
Andy
Good day
As someone who has had some experience in towing all sorts of work trailers, travel trailers, a small 24 ft 5th wheel, pop up campers, etc etc etc, the devil is in the details in the above posted photo.
On the photo and write up featured, the write up mentions the 17 footers...
Good day
Yes, I have all the bells and whistles but I also want my blind spot mirrors.
Reason for that is I am used to using them, and want to continue having the option of having them. And I don't trust electronics implicitely. They are just another tool in the box that may not work all...
Good day
Yes, many things have changed since the Mavericks Introduction.
"AS FORD TAKETH AWAY, SO FORD ALSO GIVETH".
I like some of the changes my 2025 hybrid came with, (though I would have preferred manual controls, the controls now are just fine for me).
Some glaring examples of...
Good day @TheHappyHooker
Yes, those look like what I put on my truck mirrors.
I didn't like the fragile design, or that they were adjustable...I like my blind spot mirrors low profile, rigid and very difficult to damage!
So I just stuck the BS mirrors on where I like them the most...
