Absolutely true! We can get a mix of salt/sand spread on our roads here on the prairies...depending on the temperatures of course. Once it gets too cold the salt is just wasted money if they used it....but they don't, I hope. It all depends on the temperature. Have a great one, Andy

Good day @hdave, I have gone through the various scenarios as discussed at length in this thread, and DRL in Canada do not work like "the tricks" to keep your battery charged. You can and should at least use your park lamps/corner lights/driving lights selection to help keep your battery...
