Not just hybrids.. my 2.0EB is doing the same.I did some more checking today while doing my inaugural oil change. At this point I'm leaning towards these 12V batteries seem to inherently suck. I have good voltage at the battery with the key on-- 13.4-14.5+V --so no worries about the engine harness end having poor contact. Charged the battery again with my shop charger; 6A had it topped up pretty quick. Put my battery tester on it and tested at 504CA. However after doing the oil change and engine plate recall modifications and dropping it back down the battery was already back down to 12.2V.
If it's any consolation it sounds like it's a common issue with the Escape Hybrids going back to the 2020 MY as well. They just install a bigger AGM (the stock is actually lead acid SLI) and seems to do okay.
