Love the ground clearance too - not TOO low at 8.3/8.6.

Also like that there is already a known larger tire size as well. I was also hoping for 15in wheels as mentioned above, I prefer the larger tire and better ride it offers along with the tons of AT tires setup for 15in.

Yeah for me I have basically decided to wait for a hybrid AWD option that has higher towing capabilities. The 2000 lb limit is a massive letdown for me. I am also holding out hopes for Sync 4 as well in the future. I am willing to settle for 3 if I can get the AWD Hybrid option with better towing specs.
I think im interested in waiting for an AWD hybrid also, not because I specifically want the AWD to be hybrid, but honestly I just dont wanna have to pay to upgrade the engine JUST so i can upgrade to AWD. Whatever the base is, I wanted that, in AWD. Upcharging 3300 bucks to get me the better engine, to get me AWD, it's a lot of extra expense on a 20k vehicle.

Is there any mention of blind spot monitoring? Does it come standard on all trims?

Has any source mentioned what differential is under the FX4? I am interested to know if it is using the twin clutch rear end that the Bronco Sport Badlands has. Something that can handle the tow capacity...

It is the single-clutch RDU, similar to the non-Badlands Bronco Sport or Escape.

What's the difference? What are the benefits of the dual clutch?

The dual clutch can send more torque to each rear wheel vs single. If I remember it’s 70% to one rear wheel.0 to the other. In the dual clutch vs like 20% in one and 50% in the other.
Allows for better off roading. Or muddy snowy conditions.

in reality most people will NEVER need that unless you are really getting out there in the mud.

or plan to track day it.

The dual-clutch RDU can send torque completely to either wheel. So if one wheel doesn't have any traction, torque shifts to the other. The single-clutch RDU is essentially acting as an open diff, and the only torque vectoring you will have is from brake modulation. Up to 50% of total engine torque can be sent to the rear axle with either differential.

Watch a few of TFLs “slip tests” and that will give you a good idea.
they put AWD vehicles on rollers. And see if a single or 2 wheels can pull the car off the rolls by sending torque to the wheels on the ground. Very informative videos.

typically with single clutch, if all your wheels are free spinning and you have only 1 wheel on the ground your SOL. But dual can do it.

so the clearance on the AWD is 0.3 in higher, so can we assume that is the "max height" the specs are referring to? I wish they would just give us both even if most numbers are the same. Not that 0.3 really matters, but just good to know.

The batter on the hybrid is under the rear seats. Probably extends down.

does the 2.5 engine require premium fuel?
The 2.5 Hybrid Maverick does not.
The 2.0 Turbo takes regular (premium recommended but not required)

Is the 2.5 engine referred to as the "naturally aspirated" engine? Premium fuel burns slower than regular, is that correct? Thanks for your reply.
