My youngest nephew is strongly considering going to the University of Tennessee. Any thoughts on Knoxville itself? People friendly around there? I know it is not a huge city, but is it safe near the campus? Thanks for your thoughts.I live in PA, been to Gatlinburg twice. Also Pigeon Forge, Knoxville, etc. We're considering relocating to the Knoxville area in a couple of years. I'm dreaming of loading up the Maverick and heading to a cabin in Gatlinburg!
Drive-in movie seatI would love to get a rear bench seat and bolt it into the bed.
Is it road legal? absolutely not.
Would it be great in other places? Absolutely yes!
Here is a company that makes seats for truck beds:

Potential uses for a bed seat:
- Parades (for use in the parade, and on the sidelines)
- Trick or treating
- Hay rides
- Fishing from the bed of your truck.
- Portable Deer stand?
- letting kids ride in the back
- Other?
I know that some parts of Knoxville are better and safer than others, so you have to be careful where you move. Use a crime statistics website. I found the people of Knoxville and greater Knoxville were super friendly. I thought it was a ruse for the tourists at first! My youngest nephew is strongly considering going to the University of Tennessee. Any thoughts on Knoxville itself? People friendly around there? Please do not use bungee cords to secure your kayak. Cinch and ratchet straps are far better (and safer) options. Thank you.My kayak, but I have lots of bungee cords so think I will be good.
Almost 25 years of using them. So far so good. Please do not use bungee cords to secure your kayak. Cinch and ratchet straps are far better (and safer) options. Thank you.
VACATIONS!!!!!!!I placed my order for a Cactus Grey Hybrid with Lux package and Copilot 360 last week. I'm excited for long trips without having to worry about gas so much. Current vehicle is a money sink in that respect (2016 Ford Expedition King Ranch). I'm also stoked to take my mountain bike out more often. I'm wondering how the hybrid is going to handle driving through the Colorado and Arkansas mountains. What are you guys going to use your Maverick for?
