I'm confused here and surprised no one else noticed this but wasn't Alto Blue only a 2022 color? I thought it was replaced with my color, Atlas Blue Metallic, so it being cancelled isn't new. Did they mean to say that Atlas Blue Metallic is no longer an optional color for 2024?
Stick to your order! I ordered a statistically almost impossible to get build, and I'm not a rollover, and I have a build date set for this month. Like gambling, everyone here seems to be trying to figure out how to get their truck sooner, but I really think there's way to much we don't know, so...
You're probably right, I'm willing to forgo the AWD for the hybrid now, but (assuming I ever get this hybrid), if they made an AWD hybrid model in the future (available across all trim levels) I would trade this one in for that.
According to Tim this evening:
68% Hybrid orders compared to 35% capacity.
32% EB orders compared to 65% capacity.
Other than the hybrid, standalone tow hitch and splashguards seem to be the items over build capacity.
XLT Lux = 30% capacity but 25% orders.
Lariat Lux = 25% capacity but 20%...
My 2002 Explorer XLS has about 200k miles on it, rusted like crazy, and has half the warning lights on the dash lit up. Really hoping it makes it, but if not, I guess I'd buy another $1800 Explorer to tide me over 😆
In all seriousness, give me a radio delete option now, I don't even want it. I ordered an XL Hybrid, the standard sound system already got terrible reviews, plus no CD, now no AM. Just give me a radio delete option! I'll have my own AM/FM/CD/Bluetooth installed later.
Yes, they can say that, but at the end of the year, if they have thousands of angry and disappointed customers, I find it hard to believe they'll leave them(me, probably) high n dry. Or, maybe, that's just wishful thinking.
First truck, first factory new vehicle, first hybrid! First car was a 84 Mercury Grand Marquis, third was an 89 Lincoln Town Car, also had a 2000 Ford Explorer. Currently have a 2003 Mercury Marauder as a good weather/project car, while trying to keep my 2002 Ford Explorer daily driver on the...
I see it's fifty bucks a year to join, do you know what you'll save with X Plan on a Maverick XL, and do you think you'll get your truck within the one year membership lol!?
XL Hybrid, two constraint options, three options total. I kinda expect to roll over till 2024, and hope that if I do, they give us a deal like the 22 roll overs. I actually might prefer a rollover, by then they may offer hybrid AWD, and Eruption Green😍
