valid excuse for recommending drive on ramps3. While changing the oil, I noticed that the axle shafts attach at an extreme angle that distorts the boots. Seems like they wouldn't survive for long...
Check to see if they're hanging from your trailer hitch.I'll check the active grill shutters to see if the noise is similar. I found lots of nuts from chipmunks under the hood which frightened me into thinking they were getting into the wiring! I haven't seen any electrical problems though and the nuts didn't return after cleaning them out.
I have 7800 miles on my Maverick AWD. I have had the collision warning 3 times. Every time there was nothing even close so that is a weird that everyone is reporting the same. Did you get the recall for the calibration thing done yet? I just got mine done yesterday and was hoping it might fix this issue. Thank goodness it does not slam on the brakes or I would of been rear ended already.I've owned my 2024 XLT for 9K Miles. It hasn't let me down, but there are a few weird things that annoy me.
1. Collision Avoidance: It goes of at least once a week with no apparent traffic around.
2. Clicking noises (relays?) that continue to click long after the truck is parked.
3. While changing the oil, I noticed that the axle shafts attach at an extreme angle that distorts the boots. Seems like they wouldn't survive for long...
Anyone else notice these anomalies?
Hi Larry! I can look into your Maverick's noise concern on my end. To get started, could you please send a private message over with the name/location of your local Ford dealer and your Maverick's VIN?I've owned my 2024 XLT for 9K Miles. It hasn't let me down, but there are a few weird things that annoy me.

Dont worry about the clicking noise. Mine has done it since new ((May 22).I've owned my 2024 XLT for 9K Miles. It hasn't let me down, but there are a few weird things that annoy me.

At least on the ‘23 XLT LUX 360, you can change the sensitivity. Is that not true for you?I've owned my 2024 XLT for 9K Miles. It hasn't let me down, but there are a few weird things that annoy me.

If you have push button start, the truck is picking up the FOB and readying the vehicle for use. My wife's Bronco Sport did that until I moved my key farther away from the door where my key hook is.> I've also heard the bcm of computer whatever come-on randomly while sitting parked in the garage, with the keys in the house.
XLT Phoone Hoome??
If you have old floor mats laying around, putting one under each ramp helps hold it in place. The old-school tshirt strips woven into a mat work too.3. I haven't researched this, but I'll look into better ramps. The metal ramps I have now get pushed across the garage floor by the front wheels.
Of course they wereThanks for your replies. The only thing that really bothers me are the axleshafts. I did have the front wheels off the ground while U was charging the oil, so maybe the front wheels were cambered in more than usual...
It's not even part of the CP360 package; it's just the default camera-based collision warning. I believe there is a choice of a few sensitivity settings in all trucks, and sounds like OP was able to take it down a notch. At least on the ‘23 XLT LUX 360, you can change the sensitivity. After hundreds of miles without false alarms, yesterday there were two shortly after I sprayed and wiped the windshield. The first time the alarm went off, I had just washed the truck. Thought maybe it had to do with water intrusion, but it's happened many times since under many conditions and hardly ever around traffic!
