I have a 2024 Eco 4K tow Lariat with 35K miles and my Maverick will every once in a while drive weird. It feels like my 1988 Toyota 4x4 when I left the front wheels locked in on dry pavement. Kind of like something is putting a strain on the motor with slight vibration. It happened yesterday...
I ordered a GT Mustang in 1987 and they got so many orders for the new body mustang with the 225HP 5.0 that it took 8 months to get my Mustang. By the time I got it I found out it actually a 1988 model. I was 22 years old and when I sat in my Mustang for the first time I saw that it had 260...
I just hit my 1 year anniversary this month and 21,000 miles. The truck went back to the dealer 1 time for a software update and that is it besides on my last oil change I looked at the muffler. This looks pretty bad to me. I am pretty sure this is not going to last another 80K like my Ranger...
Ok this is an old thread and I have been given this a lot of thought over the past year and with my Maverick coming up on its 1 year anniversary and 20,000 miles on the clock I have decided to take the $1250.00 and place a wager on the S&P 500 mutual fund and see what happens over the next 4...
The answer is "it depends" Look at the old Rangers for instance. For the guys who bought them new they took a heck of a bath on them if the traded them in. But if you bought a used one say at 24 months old and kept it for 2 more years it would cost almost nothing in depreciation. Then the...
That's called crop dusting. I want to know the term for when the dude who has so much weed ingrained into his clothes leaves a trail in the stores isles?
For me it would be a big negative. In the perfect world if you had the best Ford tech and unlimited time to do the job it might be as good as new but who is to say that Melvin shows up with very little experience and the shop forman is on him to hurry because Ford does not pay many hour to do...
I have a 24 Lariat with 14k miles and about 2k ago I started getting this rattle when its in drive and I have my foot on the brake. If I take my foot off the brake or shift it in neutral the rattle goes away. Sounds like its coming from behind the back seat.
That method will not work for AWD Mavericks. Also most tire places won't touch tires over 6 years old so if you don't drive a bunch you could end up with dry rotted back tires that can not be fixed if you get a nail. Just sayin
Yes Discount Tire rotates and balance my Maverick for free. Just make sure it is Discount tire and not Tire discounters because I had nothing but issues with Tire Discounters. You can even be a new customer and they will do this service for free.
I have the Michelin Primacy OEM tires on my Maverick and have 14k miles on them and to tell you the truth they are not wearing that great. I just looked up the warranty and it appears there is no warranty on OEM tires from Michelin. I wish I would of knew that I would of drove the mile from the...
Just out of curiosity was this a free oil change? I am guessing it is because that would make sense that the dealer is taking the cheap way out. If you did pay for it did they charge you for a regular oil change or a full synthetic oil change?
I know a guy who had a front axle go out in warranty and then the other side went out after warranty, $650.00 There is also a kid on Youtube who has 120k on his Maverick but he beats the snot out of it and he had the transmission replaced with extended warranty and a few more things that I can't...
I might not be reading your statement correctly but if understand you correctly you are saying you had 1 incident where an electronic device failed and Ford has claimed they fixed it but now you do not trust this truck and want your money back plus upgrades? What exactly are you going to...
So I get into my Maverick after sitting at the airport long term parking lot for 8 days and fire it up. No white smoke at all and none since then. I guess it was the weather conditions that caused it. Very strange for this time of year in Cincinnati.
