I'm not an expert on airodynamics, but know enough yo be a pilot. Unless you plan on cruising at 150 m.p.h. or so, you'll never notice any difference, but your mods do look cool!

Update: 1. I turned the collision avoidance from high to normal. I haven't had an occurrence since... 2. I checked the shutters and they don't make the same noise. I'll learn to live with it. I just worry about all those relays draining the service battery. 3. I haven't researched this, but...

When I bought mine, I had a light commute with mostly highway miles. I was averaging 39. Now I have different hours and am stuck in Boston traffic most of the time. The only advantage is I'm averaging 49 now!

I'll check the active grill shutters to see if the noise is similar. I found lots of nuts from chipmunks under the hood which frightened me into thinking they were getting into the wiring! I haven't seen any electrical problems though and the nuts didn't return after cleaning them out.

The first time the alarm went off, I had just washed the truck. Thought maybe it had to do with water intrusion, but it's happened many times since under many conditions and hardly ever around traffic!
