Why don't you install it yourself then. It's simple. My trifold takes all of a out 30 seconds to put on and take off....I installed one myself on my 2012 Tacoma 247,000 miles ago. It never leaked like the one Ford installed.

Did you look inside for light with the tailgate open or did you crawl inside and someone closed it? Just kidding JM! I’m gonna have to try the backend centering idea but no biggy if mine leaks a little, don’t keep anything in there all the time anyway.I centered the rails side to side fwd and back and looked inside for light intrusion until i found the best fit. Then added 4 more rail clamps. Added some self-adhesive foam tape strategically and I can leave a tuxedo in it in a hurricane. We'll maybe not that good but under normal circumstances I don't get water in it.
I agree I have had them all over 40 years of pick-ups and they all leak somewhat especially in car washes, theres a video on the tube a guy from Real truck shows you how to seal a Maverick cover. For some reason they seem to make all the covers half inch to a inch short. I have the FORD trifold, and it could of been a inch longer, mine only slightly leaks in the car wash at the back tail gate if I move it forward a touch it leaks at the cab end, I would rather have water coming down the back gate and down then in the bed.No bed cover is 100% water proof. I have a tri fold and some water gets in. Doesn't bother me as it's a truck bed.
Lots of water pressure but also lots of large gaps. . . notably at the top of the tailgate and just behind the cab. When I go thru the touchless wash with my tri-fold I still get water inside the tailgate/ tri-fold/ fender area. Can’t stop that I guess, lots of water pressure.
I order a 2022 and one week shy of a year i received it. I order it with the hard roll up and it had a larger gap over the tail gate and let a bunch of water it. On one of the recalls i told my dealer about it and they said yes, it's under warranty and fixed it. it still leaks a little bit at car washed but that okay/normal. I love the hard roll up, especially when rolled up it says FORD. I have just under 44K and could not be happier with my hybrid Maverick. I will be sad to see it go when my 2025 AWD Lariat comes in. I order the 25 on 08/06 and it's been in production a little over a week.I have a new 2024 Maverick [5,000 miles] with the roll up bed cover. water gets in the back when it rains. If I go to a car wash the back end of the bed is soaked.
I want to swap it out for the tri fold cover. Ya think I’ll have any luck with Ford?
I have the same cover and agree, it leaks at the back a little in car wash at tailgate they could of made it 1/2-inch longer theres room, I think theres room to make it longer and would of solved the problem. they all leak, had every brand over 40 years of pickups and different covers.I have the ford soft tri-fold cover and although it is not completely waterproof it does a really good job at keeping stuff dry and it fits and seals very well IMO. What very little water that does get in stays around the perimeter of the bed. I am actually surprised how well it works. I have no concerns throwing luggage back there and driving a few hundred KMs in a rain.
I could but I don’t want to buy a cover again. Why don't you install it yourself then. It's simple. My trifold takes all of a out 30 seconds to put on and take off....
I’m going to get one of those foam pipe covers you would use to insulate pipes in cold places In your home. They are sliced the long way. I’ll try that at the end of the roll up where it meets the tailgate. Obviously just for the car wash. And maybe hurricanes.I have the same cover and agree, it leaks at the back a little in car wash at tailgate they could of made it 1/2-inch longer theres room, I think theres room to make it longer and would of solved the problem. they all leak, had every brand over 40 years of pickups and different covers.
See my update. I fixed the cover not meeting the top of the tale gateMy bed cover has a gap between the edge of the cover and the top of the tailgate. Not big but big enough to let in a lot of water. Then the edges have big gaps. Big enough to look in from above. A good half to 3/4 inch. I have since seen a trifold in the showroom. It looked tight with no gaps anywhere.
