It was a couple months back, shortly after picking up my new 2023 Maverick Lariat, when I first noticed 3 or 4 dribbles coming down from the top of the driverside windshield. I initially wrote it off as leftover spits from cleaning the inside windshield and I wiped it off with a chamois.
After another rainy period I caught the same rivlets of stain in the gleaming sun. I also discovered the marks of suction cups used to replace windshields.
Being a little irritated, to say the least, and not trusting the dealer enough to bring it back to them, I'm floating this here to get some advice from any Ford reps out there.

Hi there, Kip! Could you privately message us with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer so I can look into this window leak concern? Thank you!

Not really an issue, on similar note, after a rain, when opening rear door, always get residue water drips on the floor. Water drips on carpet. I keep a towel in door pocket to wipe dry. Only happens when door opened.

I'm also seeing small drips on the inside of both the driver and passenger side. I purchased my Mav back in May and have had no leaks until this week. Last week one of my kids did drive this truck to Colorado where it experienced 10 degree nights so I wonder if a window seal shrank a bit?

It's under warranty. Explain the situation and they'll leak-test it to see if there is traceable water intrusion.

(By "leak test", it usually means that one person sprays the windshield from all sorts of angles with the pressure washer in the car washing area of the dealership, while someone else is inside and checks for water intrusion. Depending on the diagnostic time offered by Ford, they may also take interior trim panels off in order to get a good look at the windshield perimeter.)

I wonder if a window seal shrank a bit?
Fixed windows use a type of bulk adhesive (think of a caulking gun) to seal the windows to the body of the vehicle, such as 3M 08693 urethane windshield adhesive. The seals on the outside edges are just trim. They provide some protection, but cheaper cars omit them entirely.

That adhesive doesn't really shrink. What I suspect is more likely the case is there was insufficient adhesive applied, leaving minute gaps. If that's the case, it will require the windshield to be removed, adhesive cleaned off, new adhesive applied, and windshield reinstalled.
