BAKflip is sending me a new tonneau cover and has given me instructions to drill holes in the old one to continue my 5-year warranty. It should arrive before New Year's day.I have a lady at TonneauCovers working with Bakflip on my leak issue. I had to send them links to the different videos I took of it leaking and I will share any news I get back from them. Be it good or bad.
In the meantime, due to all the rain we are experiencing I went to the hardware store, and for less than 3 bucks I bought some of that 1/8 inch thick by 1/4 inch wide weather strip that goes on doors and windows. I applied it on the cover side of the fold-ups where the rubber strip is supposed to touch. So far it has drastically reduced the water coming in. Maybe doing that will help others. I might suggest that BAKflip, add a 10-foot piece in the installation package.
