I too have the "Deep Sleep" periodically, weather dictated. I can see the Trickle Charge. Explain, Please, why the battery reset? Have you read where the Battery Reset is an actual Fix? Maybe Ford Interloper could comment instead of only looking for assets.

I an turn it on manually but it doesn't turn on when I open the door without the key in the ignition.
I get that it doesn't turn on when you open the door [as it should]. Symptomatic of the deep sleep issue and an inconvenience at night. I put small touch operated rechargeable LED cabin lights front and rear as a backup. Again, a temp solution. If you're interested, I'll post the link.

The BMS reset is at best a temporary fix. Might last for a couple days. Clearly, there's an issue with the entire system. I'm thinking a software glitch, but I'm no expert. One has to wonder why Ford isn't addressing this more aggressively. Perhaps the problem is more complicated and costly.

Ford recommends that when the battery is charged or replaced that the reset procedure be performed..

I just trickle charged the battery though. I will trickle charge it again and then do the reset again to be sure. Wait for my good news
With my truck, I would need to start/drive the car once after charging the battery in order for the interior lights to work again.

Pretty much what my dealer told me . . . driving it daily helps.

I did this and it works again! Yayy!
Trickle charge and reset alone doesn't work right away.

I will see if I can measure the parasitic drain on the 12V battery to see if it excessive or not.

Have anyone upgraded their lead acid battery to Lithium?
Lithium is much lighter, has better performance and higher capacity.
Might be worth it for this car high drain.

I think the complication there might be the DC-DC converter can charge the battery at slightly over 15 volts while most 12V lithium are only rated for about 14.5. So you would probably need a charge controller, maybe diodes to separate the load/charge flow, and to say nothing of how the truck's BMS would interpret such a setup.

Concerns of fire aside, Lithium needs a special charger - the charge strategies for lead acid and lithium are very different.

The BMS reset fixed mine for 2 months before I added a powered sub that kept coming on when you opened the doors due to how the infotainment center cycles.

I rewired the sub to the fuse panel,ACC, for remote power and reset the BMS again, it's been a few weeks and no deep sleep.

I do not think that is necessary, just back into the cigerate lighter I think would work
It seems the cigarette lighter shuts off its power after the car is off for a while. This is also one reason why a dash cam had to be hardwired if you want parking mode.
