Automatic High Beam not switching on

High and low have the same lumen output, the high setting just removes a shade that allows for the full spread of light upward. In the Ford Transits, you could quickly double tap the high beam stalk to toggle the auto feature on or off... haven't tried to see if that shortcut works in the Maverick yet.

Guess I'm old-school I turned it off since it only takes me moving my finger a little bit to turn em on.

Don't often drive at night anymore but had auto brights on the other evening just to see how they did. At one point they turned off for an approaching car (as they should) when I hit a bump that raised the front up to make it appear I had flashed them, so they flashed me back. Overall performance was mixed enough that I don't trust it so will continue to adjust manually.

This is one of the first things I turned off on my truck, it’s a useless feature that doesn’t work properly. It was constantly flashing oncoming drivers.

Mine work so flawlessly, I think they're hard to beat. For you and others dissatisfied with their functionality, I would have the dealer check them out, something may not be aligned correctly.

Nothing to align, it uses the front camera to detect oncoming vehicles and street lights. Maybe you live in a rural area, it’s useless in the city. Considering I use high beams a grand total of once or twice a year, I’m not going to pay the deductible on the extended warranty for something I have no use for.
