It seems the cigarette lighter shuts off its power after the car is off for a while. This is also one reason why a dash cam had to be hardwired if you want parking mode.

Is your solar panel wired directly to a battery connection in the fuse box?

Have anyone upgraded their lead acid battery to Lithium? Lithium is much lighter, has better performance and higher capacity. Might be worth it for this car high drain.

I did this and it works again! Yayy! Trickle charge and reset alone doesn't work right away. I will see if I can measure the parasitic drain on the 12V battery to see if it excessive or not.

I just trickle charged the battery though. I will trickle charge it again and then do the reset again to be sure. Wait for my good news

I an turn it on manually but it doesn't turn on when I open the door without the key in the ignition.

I just successfully did the battery reset but the Dome light still doesn't turn on. This car is pissing me off. So much issues.

For my F150 I did not notice much of a hit on MPG from going to 33s VS stock on the highway. However in stop and go traffic the drop is real. May be 3-4Mpg drop is my guess.

I just universal one on ebay and cut them down. I need to make new ones. I installed them too high.

3-4 mpg difference?! I didn't know premium can make such a huge diff on a stock tune.

My F150 2.7 tune or not also benefit with 92 so that's all I run. Yours results seems right on for the Mav 2.0. You won't likely feel the performance difference unless u rev it out since it's likely up top. For my hybrid mav I did not notice any diff with 92 or 87 so I guess that's a good...
