I knew it was the right vehicle for me the moment I saw it the first time online. Then I researched the heck out of it and read the reviews. Never drove one till I got it. I sat in a lariat at my local dealer and was happy about my decision with my XLT order. While mine was on order I sat in an XLT ironically the same color silver as what I ordered and was even happier. Then I drove mine for the first time. it was a Granger buy, and an immediate road trip from Iowa to Texas. I was in love the moment I drove it off the lot in november 2022.
So far I have about 5,500 miles on it. I use it as a commuter. My full size silverado is my get big stuff from Lowes truck. This to me is just a cool looking commuter with a large trunk that I am customizing and accessorizing it to my liking. BTW its shocking to me how the aftermarket has stepped up very quickly with lots of different good high quality products for everybody to make their maverick "their own". Plus It serves its purpose well for my daily needs. Oh and 30.5 mpg highway with AWD 4K tow pak on road trips ain't too shabby either.
