The other day I’d forgotten I left my banjo in the bed of my Maverick. As soon as I realized I ran back to the truck but it was too late. Someone had already left three more banjos and a dulcimer.
I see you have exquisite taste in trucks, color and avatars! Cheers!

Just sayin'.
This is the first potential MTC theme song I’ve heard. Great theme song IMHO! Thanks!

I sold most of my higher end guitars years ago (mostly Gibson's). I couldn't justify gigging with stuff I worried about being stolen. I primarily play these Les Paul copies from Rondo Music (but have a couple high end Washburns). I like them because they don't have any weight relief (not chambered). This is about 1/6th of the collection.

Your guitar haul made me grin, and it reminded me of how much more I enjoy hauling instruments now that I’ve been getting better at playing. I’ve been brushing up on my chops through artmaster.com, which helped me feel less guilty about carting around half my collection. If you ever load up even more guitars for a jam or a trip, that bed looks ready for pretty much anything.

Saw this old thread and couldn’t resist adding that I’ve been loading my guitars diagonally lately, which seems to free up even more space than stacking cases flat. Has anyone tried using soft gig bags instead of hard cases to squeeze in a few extras? I’m curious how secure they feel in the Maverick’s bed on longer drives.
No bed cover?

If you get a truck bed cargo net, the kind that goes over the bed, you can stack them. ;)
Still doesn't match the couple of dozen that Pete Townshend can fit . . .

😲

Forget guitars! How many ukes????
well, being smaller, they don't smash as well, but they're smaller to start with.

So I'll guess at twice as many . . .

Wait !
You waited 388 days for a truck !
Hahahahahaha that’s hilarious.

It took almost two whole hours from the time I first saw mine to driving it home.
I bought a Lariat, it had all the toys.

Special orders take too long and cost too much.
Back in the day my Dad wanted a certain color. Chevrolet had to paint it special order style.
It took six weeks.

Life is too short, I got stuff to do.

The first 2022 hybrid I ordered in August 2021 was delivered on Sept 9, 2022! I did find a 2022 hybrid lariat in Feb 2022 that was refused by the person who ordered it. I still have both. Though I also ordered and purchased two additional base models during the suspense months when certain items were constrained, but ford came through on all of them. The third one I traded in for $10k+ OTD for the 4th which I sold to carmax for almost MSRP +TTL. Plan on trading both my 2022's for 1 or 2 2030-2032's hopefully plug-in or full electric, depending on atmospheric collection of stray electron development🤫🤗

There has never been a vehicle made I would wait over a year to get. Vehicles are tool of transportation for me, nothing more. The only reason I replace a vehicle is it no longer serves my needs or I grew tired of it and want something different. And I learned a long time ago to avoid the first 2 years of a brand new vehicle since I don;t want to deal with the recalls. Recalls are inevitable on a new design vehicle because the manufacturer doesn't know what they don't know about long term use. Now that I no longer put 40k miles on a year going to and from work and retired I would have the time to deal with the recall issues. But I wouldn't have the desire to just for a first year vehicle. You have more patience than I do 😆

I'm a Dean, Fender Strat, Martin and an old Westone Electric that is my favorite guitar. Westone was made by a Japanese company in the 80's and the electronics in these guitars are insane. I had the fretboard serviced, as the action wasn't very good. Guitar sounds amazing at 43 years old!
