Today at work we called out a utility marking company to mark underground cables before we started excavating and they came out in a Maverick, I thought that was cool .

I've seen them all over the place now here in Southern Maryland. In my community the neighbors on either side of my parents' place have them now. I've seen this fleet one from time to time too and finally managed to get a pic of it since I was riding shotgun.

I was photographing ships in Baltimore during fleet week and noticed this black Maverick alongside the USS Marinette.

I had a detailer out to clean the outside and apply a ceramic coating, it turned out great! I figured it will be easier to keep it clean this way, especially since I'm in an area with a lot of pollen, leaves and bird droppings.

Today I picked up a load of mulch for my parents. I was a bit nervous having it loaded directly given the small bed and since I don't have a headache rack or anything but everything worked out in the end, other than having to clean a bit off the roof.

Took a trip out to the PAX River museum to check out the aircraft.

I would be all for it, I'm familiar with the area as I visit the PAX River museum every so often.

I had my first oil change at 2100 miles as the on board computer was saying it was necessary. This was a little over a year since I took delivery and I primarily use it for small trips. This is with an Ecoboost.

While I saw on in person on a lot before then, the first time I drove one was when I took delivery of mine at the end of March in 2022. I certainly tried to set up a test drive with whatever dealers had some on the way but was unsuccessful.

I rather like it, I found that I adjusted to it very quickly. The other work trucks I use have the steering wheel mounted stalks although sometimes those don't go into gear correctly.

I ended up naming mine 'Vergil', inspired in part by Virgil from Dante's Inferno as it has helped me navigate through the hell that is Southern Maryland's roads. That and the similarly named AI from Halo: ODST whose avatar has a similar green color to it.

Just picked mine up today! Things went very smoothly other than some issues with Ford Pass not connecting, we believe due to the weak wifi signal at the dealership. They let me use a service loaner for a few hours while they applied the spray-in bed liner which turned out very well.
