This is a really good question. I guess I'll try to be dispassionate about how long I keep my Maverick. If I like it as much as I think I will, I'll probably keep it as long as it can at least serve as a spare vehicle. Ten or 15 years?

I'll keep it as long as I enjoy driving it. I just got rid of my 1987 B2000 I bought in 1993 and I still have my 2004 Infiniti I bought new.

Longer than any vehicle I've owned in the past 6 years. No idea how long that will be but I hope it's a long time. First vehicle I bought all cash and I'm enjoying having no vehicle payments and hoping to make it worth it for me in the long run, not for the resale of a depreciating asset.

*Whispers in ear
Keep both.

I got a 8yr warranty so there is that. Beyond that basically till its unrepairable, or until jet packs become commonplace.

My last auto purchase ever…………unless Ford builds a twin turbo version of this along with handling upgrades that allow it to outdo the likes of Vettes or Porsches, and also credit me $35k for my current Mav towards this limited edition STT!😁

My Ram 1500 lasted me 24 years. Not sure if the Mav will last that long. The road salt in NY destroys vehicles and there seems to be many places in the undercarriage for it to accumulate. I plan to get it ceramic coated and under coated before winter. That should buy me a few more years, hopefully. I'd like this to be my last vehicle, but we'll see.
As a fellow upstate NewYorker I know what you mean when it comes to brutal winters. Salt roads and lots of poorly filled potholes.

I don't drive it much, 2400 miles in 9 months, and I financed at 1.9% for 60, so my motivation to sell it or trade it is very low.

I usually keep vehicles a long time. My last truck was an F-150 which I drove for 22 years. I imagine this will be my last new vehicle. Once it arrives, I plan to keep it until I am no longer able to drive, or it gets rear-ended/totaled. 😬
I had a Ford Ranger for 27+ years, then bought a 22 Mav off the lot. Really liked it but wanted AWD and the color blue so I ordered a 23 that I received about 7 weeks ago. Sold my 22 to my dad as I had posted on here back on Fathers Day.

In summary my hope is to keep this truck until I retire in 7-8 years, at which point my next truck could potentially be the last truck I buy. We’ll see……

I really don't know. I am not impressed with Ford's build quality so far. I just received my 23 Lariat ecoboost a few days ago and I already see fit and finish problems. Cheap/soft plastic everywhere that you cannot touch without scratching or scuffing. Thin paint and i suspect that all of the exterior plastic will fade quickly in California weather. I waited a year and I am already thinking of trading it in within a couple of years. I will see what Toyota or Ram has coming in a small truck.
Sell it then.

I’ll run it until the hybrid battery fails, transmission goes, it engine goes. Whichever comes first. If the cost of a replacement hybrid battery is feasible at the time, I may opt for that.

I plan to keep mine for 8 years / 100,000 miles (hybrid battery warranty, which can’t be increased)

Then I’ll trade it (for more money than what I paid MSRP :ROFLMAO:) and get the 2032 flying electric Maverick ST

Difficult question to answer as I have a couple of possibilities. The 2023 is my wife's at the moment and I was going to take it over when her 2024 Maverick hybrid arrives and replace my 2008 F-150 with 150k on it and rust in cab corners and bed side. My youngest turns 16 next year and thinks he will be getting the 2023 when he is a senior in high school... told him he better get money towards college if he thinks that is gonna happen.

I am contemplating cancelling the 2024 order already and riding out the 2023 until I figure out a place. I really want an F-250 with Godzilla but not sure I can justify doing that as it is the same cost as two Mavericks. First world problems, I know.
