It would be interesting for you to take a picture of the functioning dashboard before and after the replacement to see if anything is added or lost with the new one.

I tried to go with the Ford stainless steel version but after my dealer got 3 sets that had been "burned up" in the manufacturing process, I gave up and got the raised plastic ones in chrome for my Velocity Blue 2022. They have stayed on really well - no problems at all.
Would the computer report something like this if the fuel "cap" didn't close all the way? This would prevent the hybrid fuel tank from pressurizing fully from what I understand.
I had that happen a few times when I first got my 22 XLT but had the dealer lower the lights just a little. I think that a big part of it is that the Mav uses all 4 lights as the low beam. This is unusual and is sure to make other drivers think the high beams are on.
