I was just wondering if this was a new, nation-wide trend?
It surprised me when I went to my dealer with a question about my wife's new Escape having some wind noise and air leak in the driver's side door/window. They assured me they could look at it but when I asked about making an...
We've had an Actual Size sticker on my wife's 2012 Chevy Sonic hatchback for several years. I ordered it at a car show from a company that had lots of stock stickers. Got it in just a few days.
Maybe. But that REALLY makes a difference in lowing the tailgate. It's was too easy for it to get away from me before I installed the strut. My wife wouldn't even try to lower it after the first time - but then, we are really old.
BONUS! I just went to use the Mav for the first time after coming back from service and when I opened the door, the cab lights and dash came on and immediately went off! The truck started and ran but I'm concerned since it is doing this on a "tested good, recharged" battery, I still have...
This a follow up on my post about a dead battery in my 22 XLT https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/well-it-finally-happened-to-me.59151/page-4#post-1040080

A little bit of "30 Second Cleaner" full strength on that area will take care of any stains. Just brush or spray it on, wait 30 seconds, scrub just a little bit with a stiff brush, and rinse it off with water. Amazing stuff! Be sure to wear gloves and not get any on your clothes or shoes or...
That is a very good point! However, I just forced the radio to search for updates and it didn't find any. I must assume it is at the latest version already. Thanks for the suggestion though.
I don't think I've had the popping sound before the full-volume blast but I did notice something when it happened again yesterday - I have to press the radio on/off button twice to turn it off to quiet the blast. I wonder if the radio even "knows" it is on?
It happened again a few minutes ago. Cruising along a city street at about 35MPH and the radio (which was off) suddenly came on a maximum volume on the station I had listened to yesterday.
It is really shocking to have this happen with no warning. I guess I'll stop by and describe it to the...
