Yeah, I'll probably keep this little truck till I croak. I'm 73 yo. & retired. A few hundred miles a month, so it'll make somebody a great used truck in 10 years or so.

I was lucky to Drive a GT3 RS 4 liter, Insaine, as you stated above my pay grade, however, my Boxster is in Vegas getting the engine replace, with a LS3 from Renegade. Can't wait, the GT3 might be slightly faster, just slightly.
A link you might enjoy - Porsche Carson Calif Experience Center - Note Black 911 Turbo Sport AWD at the bottom. Fasted P car ever, but naturally surpassed in 2023.

I've had mine for exactly 1 years. It's a great little truck but I'm ready to part with it anytime.

I bought it to have it. I'm not just long term renting it.

How long do you plan to keep your Ford Maverick Truck?
Just like every other vehicle we own. Ten plus years as long as they continue to run well with only scheduled maintenance or minor repairs. Have a 2004 4x4 PSD Excursion that is still my go to towing and hauling rig, along with a 2015 Honda Accord Hybrid. They are depreciating assets so the less turnover the better.

I would like to daily it for 238,900 mi... Then it will probably sit in my backyard as a lumber truck or something. Every old guy needs a small pickup... I'm not afraid to work on it myself so until irreparable body damage?

I'm still driving my 2000 Accord (23 years, 292k miles) that I bought new. If I do that well with the Maverick, I'll be very happy.

Sounds like a good candidate for a poll :).

Usually, I keep vehicles for around 3 years. My Mav when I get it unless the blush is lost from the rose, I'll keep it for 5-8 years. It has all the features I need and want from my must have check list. And it's a pickup. Which I have not had since 2009. (Don't make fun of me. Sold it for a SUV because of a kid.)

I WFH and have only put about 4k miles on my car every year since 2020. Once I get it, plan on keeping it minimum 10-15 years or until it dies beyond repair.

I usually keep vehicles a long time. My last truck was an F-150 which I drove for 22 years. I imagine this will be my last new vehicle. Once it arrives, I plan to keep it until I am no longer able to drive, or it gets rear-ended/totaled. 😬
Getting the hybrid in about 2 months. Seen a tranny problem guy posted youtube at 80000 miles.
That is after warranty. could be expensive. maybe 5,000 miles. or if the ac goes that compressor is deep down in engine for access. thats big bucks. might sell truck at about 40,000 miles.

any tips?
