In the last 60 days, I have destroyed 2 window regulators on the same window (driver side rear). What's up with that? Could I be getting an over-amperage causing the motor to over-torque?
Is there a up limit switch to stop it at the upper limit that needs an adjustment?
Or is it just poor...
I had a similar experience at a car wash. I may have unknowingly touched the brake and just don't recall doing it. It was an anxious couple of seconds!. I reached down and hit the brake auto brake button, all qcured. Just remember to turn back on!
I agree 💯%. I never knew I missed it. I love this feature and will insist it be on every vehicle I own in the future!! If you travle in an urban area, it's a must have!
I did the exact thing! I agree the chrome helps set the entire tailgate/bed stand out. I have the factory tow hitch, so hopefully that'll give a modicum of protection, but I'm now thinking that a strip light below the tailgate might be needed for the "destracted drivers" ........... ie...
The power to the bed shuts off automatically shuts down after 15 minutes, preventing any drainage from the bed area. I inadvertently left my bedlights on once. It saved my bacon.
Join the club! ..... Hell,
I assume we need all the
"young old farts" we can get. Old farts tend to die at a higher attrition rate!!.
Bawahaha!
Welcome!!
The power hook up in located in the driver side bed. It's a small 2x2 plate behind the cubby in the bed area. You must plug the pigtail into the cubby.
Explained in the owners manual.
