18" of snow here recently, Maverick has Michelin Xice Snows on and handled it like a champ, the AWD system is good, not as good as my Subaru, but still good

I didn't drive mine during the latest snownami, but no problems with the stock Conti's with up to 4 inches of snow. The F150 gets used when it gets nasty!

As of 02/23 I have not seen snow accumulate on the streets in my area in the NE part of the KC metro. Guess I don't need snow tires. It has snowed south and north of me, but not in my area.

We had a blizzard with 12.6 inches of snow. No problem with AWD and the stock Michelin's.

no issues. xlt awd fx4 and ya it works fine. stock tires work well in the snow. Canadian here so ya snow is normal here. I will end up with snow tires at some point but still.

I got my truck last January. Been in snow and ice many times. The traction control is great, and being front wheel drive gave it a lot of oomph thanks to the weight on the drive tires. Also, with it being as light as it is, it doesn't get stuck nearly as easily.

On highway, it handles remarkably well.

I've been wanting to take the truck out again but we're currently looking at around 1 ft or more with more coming tonight. After clearing some of my backyard I can't bring myself to clean my driveway again. Maybe tomorrow if conditions are okay but I doubt that.
Makes me confident when I see how others are handling the snow. This is the first time I've dealt with more than 3inches of snow on a single day.

Ed in SoCal,

You must be in Angeles Crest, Wrightwood, or Big Bear. Heck, even the Hollywood sign got some snow flurries. Take some video tomorrow morning in your Mav playing in the snow and post on YouTube, I will sub!

I am up to over 100 Mav only videos already. My hybrid is in Huntington Beach and my turbo AWD is in Park City.

Wish I had more than a dusting to see. Last year we had a lot of snow.
Interesting how snow has been this year. Last year here in Indianapolis had decent snows. This year hardly anything. But, on the coast of Oregon where I grew up from 1949 to 1979 and remember maybe 3 times it snowed, one pretty deep while I was in the service in the late 1960,s that is similar to this years, one family member sending me pictures of a ruler showing 8 inches.
But, for our Mav, if it did snow my wife would say if we had to go somewhere (we are retired) "we are taking ... YOUR... car! ...MY... Mav is NOT getting salt on it!"

FWD Hybrid with Michelin X-Ice tires - its great! I had a few Subarus and 4x4s, and once thought I needed all four wheels turning in he snow, but having a Dodge Caravan with snow tires reminded me that a good set of snows is all you really need. Really happy with the hybrid, and since I don't go trail running, there's no compromise with winter driving.

We have blizzaks on our jetta so our Maverick stays in the garage whenever it snows (or is really cold). We don't really need two cars and I don't feel like buying a second set of snow tires.
