I was in the same boat. Debating on whether to get the EB 4k or a Ranger because of the towing, but decided to try the hybrid Mav instead because of my daily 100+ mile commute. The majority of my towing/hauling is 2k or lower, so I decided to give it a try. I kept my old F150 for the heavy stuff...
And I stand with what Iāve said. Iāve got 40 years in at two different dealers and have dealt with these issues. Iām just saying that you need to go through your own insurance. They have the lawyers and knowledge to get the situation resolved. Itās what you pay them for. If you would rather...
The insurance only covers vehicles that the dealership owns. It may be different in other states, but in MN, insurance must be provided by the owner, no matter who drives it. Not the dealershipās car, so not their insurance, either. The way the dealer handled it, though is another issue.

I've got 40k on mine, with about 1/2 of those miles either hauling or towing and they're still at 4-5/32" each. I'm guessing that you have a lot of city miles with heavy starts/stops.
It's a federally mandated requirement for all cars sold in the US since 2007. Most manufacturers have gone to an algorithm-based system that reads from the ABS/wheel speed sensors to determine the tire pressure indirectly and no longer need the tire sensors, but they are still being used on a...
