Corrosion warranty is 5 years/unlimited miles for rust-through perforation. Take it to the dealer and find out if it's covered. It won't cost anything to have them check it out.
I would still have my '22 Cyber Orange if my oak tree hadn't decided to nap on it, just under 70k miles. After 13k in sheet metal replacement it was traded for my current '25 which now sits at 45k. No major issues mechanically with either truck
Mine does the same. I found some extra latches that fit into the empty ends (filled with epoxy to weigh them down) to keep them from tapping against the rear window. Also, the rail clamps constantly need to be tightened. Otherwise, it's been great!
I added it because I tow a lot between boats, ATV's, snowmobiles and such. My 22 hybrid handled it all as well and got about 5 mpg better than the 4k AWD hybrid does. I don't think the 4k really adds anything significant to the resale value. It's all just personal preference.
I got 60k miles out of the Conti's on the 2022 model before swapping out to Falken Aklimates, which I ran for about 10k before trade-in. The current Conti's are sitting at 5/32 with 45k on them. They were fine in the ice and snow but I will be changing out for Michelin Cross Climate 2 before...
I'll have to watch mine when the snow hits again. About the only time I use HVAC is when it's below zero F or if it's raining or snowing. Just changed the filter a couple of months ago but it was just dirty, not frozen! Best of luck!
It's fixable, but expensive to do. Not only that, not many shops are able to handle high-strength steel, which requires special equipment and training.
The recall has nothing to do with the engine. It all has to do with the design of the engine compartment and a possibility of fire because if the engine block is compromised oil and fumes can becomed trapped within the engine bay and that creates a fire hazard. They should have removed part of...
Common issue. Water will condense at the coldest point, which would be the oil cap. If you see the same on the dipstick or during an oil drain/change, THEN you have problems.
Mine parks outside year-round and has never needed it. Withstood temps from -45f to 115f over the last year without issue. My former '22 model wass the same. I do drive a minimum of 100 miles a day, though so it's usually well charged.
-36f last weekend with no problems starting and it's never garaged. The regen disappears after about -10f and mileage drops to the upper 20's at speeds between 55 and 75 mph. Hooray for winter. Couldn't say the same for the wife's EB, which wouldn't start until it got above -20f.
The refund is determined by Ford, not the dealer. You need to contact Ford Customer Service to get the ball rolling. The dealer would not be compensated by Ford if they just issued a refund. The dealer needs to work on their own customer service as they should have directed you toward Ford...
