With a lot of people being affected with the current storm hitting the US right now I was curious how your Mavericks are doing with the snow.
I have an FX4 with Vredestien Pinza AT 235/65/R17. Very happy I was able to get my wife and I home after having to maneuver around unprepared drivers stuck in the snow.

I'll find out when I go to the store this afternoon with my hybrid and stock tires. I opted not to this morning when the snow was still coming down for a reason though. We've gotten about a foot over the last two days.

Just fine. Been thru a storm in December with stock XL tires (Continental procontact tx 225/65R17), as well as a couple inches yesterday with better tires (245/65R17 107H SL FALKEN WILDPEAK A/T TRAIL). No problem either time.

I have AWD, which helps.

Photo from yesterday. Surprisingly I dont seem to have any photos from the December storm. The December event was a lot worse than yesterday in terms of amount of snow, compacted snow, compacted ice on the roads though. I did turn on the AWD visualization/screen to see where the power was being sent. Mostly it stuck with FWD/power to front wheels, but at some points I could see and feel that it was transferring some power to the rear wheels. Not a lot, but enough to keep me from slipping or sliding. Putting it in Slippery Mode definitely impacts the throtle response and shifting pattern. Every time I use Slippery Mode, I feel like I am driving a tank or some other tracked vehicle. It just seems to crawl along and grumble/grind. Not in a bad way. Just feels like I am rooted to the ground with additional force.

Mines does just as good as any other FWD car I have had, & maybe a bit better going through drifts because it has more ground clearance than a sedan.

lucky enough to have a Jeep Gladiator, so took that out in the snow today. I have only had my front wheel drive hybrid a week and didn't want to risk some fool sliding into me! I have had mostly front wheel drive cars and know the limitations. it did do good getting out of my driveway so i could plow it!

So we have had like a foot of snow here over the last couple of days in Northwestern Wisconsin. Now the roads have been plowed, but there's still a layer of snow on every side street. I literally just drove my Hybrid to the store and back, and it handled really well?

I mean, unless you live in the mountains, getting going isn't usually the problem in the snow -- it's the stopping.

Had to leave it parked today.
Made the mistake of wearing a long sleeve under my jacket while riding the Harley. The humidity was terrible.
Had to keep rolling!

4 inches of snow on top of ice, the only problem was other drivers going too slow or not at all. The Tremor with Falkens and locked up is a tank. Traction is amazing. The directional stability at speed is very good for a small truck.

I've been very pleased with the performance of the AWD system, as well as the Falken tires. No complaints so far....

Wish I had more than a dusting to see. Last year we had a lot of snow.
