It only takes up about 10% max of my view out of the windshield. Not too bad. There are far worse.

Nope, dont have mine yet. But not something 'd ponder anyway. Seems like one of those things where you have to take the bad with the good.

I find every car I'm in had its uncomfortable issues that you'll adapt to over time and eventually no longer notice. Its not the issue usually but the change old to new.

Maverick hood is not bad, a good friend recently bought a couple year old Tacoma, you need to stick your head out the window when parking, it has a big bubble hood with a hood scoop, looks kinda goofy to me.

I only find it too large when I go to wash/wax it, I can't hardly reach the very center. I had an older Ranger before, never had that problem. It does seem expensive when I'm stretching to try to get the center part closest to the windshield.

I imagine the hood is shaped the way it is to give you a more "truck" impression when looking out the windshield.

Is anyone else bothered by the size of the hood? To me, driving, it obstructs my view, and in my opinion is disproportionate to the size of the truck. Thoughts?
The hood barely even registers when I am driving and I am only 5'8. I can't imagine seeing this small of a vehicle and thinking the hood is any kind of an obstruction. But, in fairness I've mostly owned full size trucks and have a lot of experience in class A and B sized trucks.

It's like the number of features, noise level, ride, gas mileage, sound system, etc. one had on their previous vehicle; it all depends on what one was used to on their previous vehicle.

the only thing i dont like is the drop off at the front
I'll think im close to the wall/the vehicle in front and get out and see I'm not even close and still have 2-3 feet
Yep. I now creep forward towards walls about 1-2 feet further than I would normally be comfortable with. If I can't see my headlights reflecting anymore, I know I am about right. In parking lots where there is no wall in front of me (and no tire bumper thing separating me from the opposing parking spot), I just.....guess when to stop without going over the front line and into the opposing spot. About 50/50 on those kinds of parking jobs. Spots with bumpers having me creeping up so I don't slam into the bumper. I feel like I am 16 again.....
