BUT, I had been used to 35+ years of owning Rangers.
And the "Rised" Sill, took a few months of getting use too... :ROFLMAO:

The Maverick is way better than my wife's Volvo XC40. I have a pet peeve with designers lowering modern rooflines for aerodynamic and styling reasons. I miss the tall roofs of my youth. Most people don't notice because it's an unconscious habit, but you have to to duck your head to enter-exit most smaller and midsize vehicles these days. Even my older generation Ranger had an easier entrance.

I really noticed the head bob when my back went out a few months back. It was a genuine contortion act to get into and out of my Maverick without pain, and I'm a pretty trim guy and only 5'9".

Pay attention to your head next time you enter-exit your Maverick. You'll see what I mean. OTOH, maybe it's because I like my seat fully raised. Folks who have it all the way down maybe don't have to do the head bob thing.
I have hit my head several times. It is usually putting things in the back seat and forgetting to duck my head when coming out. I am used to ducking when getting in the front seat. It really hurts when you are bald on top like I am. The hurt even goes through the hat I wear and opens up a cut on my head.

I find my left foot sometimes gets caught while exiting. This only seems to happen in winter due to me wearing winter boots. I'm 5.4 and I am probably closer to the steering wheel too.

I am not especially tall or large yet when exiting the driver seat I found the door opening to tight.
Do you have the same experience?
Not me. I'm 6' and it is much easier than my Tacoma (aka neck breaker).

My size 13's always scraper the lower door panel when I get out.

My '99 Grand Cherokee hass tons of clearance.

But, generally, its ok.

My size 13's don't scrape the door if I recline the seat a notch or two.
