I'm super happy with my Lariat but I I have the Tremor itch now.
I have 24 Lariat TREMOR and have no regrets
Truck stickers at 41 with bed cover and bed mat. I paid 37 with my discount.
I dont like passenger seat though, it is a joke. Otherwise good by with a plan

I think you will find that most of us that have a Lariat don't have buyers remorse (except for the weirdo @dee2400 😁 ), it's the trim we wanted because it has the stuff we wanted. I get if you don't have the $$ or it's not your use case you go with a XL or XLT, when I was young and didn't have $$ I drove a pretty basic S-10, of course trucks on the whole were more basic back then. I had a choice between a Cavalier and a S-10 for the same $$ and went with the S-10 and never regretted that either. GM gave me a College graduate bonus, don't remember if it was $300 or $500 but either was a decent amount of $$ back then which is why I went GM. The people I don't get are the ones that bought a '24 because they didn't like the '25 front end or lack of HVAC controls, you are missing out on things like Sync 4 with a 13.2" screen, 360 camera, front camera (which I love) and for hybrids a AGM battery. That just seems like a lot to give up for HVAC controls and the front end grows on you. Besides when you are driving the car you can't see the front end 😁

I’m super happy with all my Lariat extras.
My next Mav will be a Lariat.
What stands out the most to me is the super quiet cabin and the B&O stereo.
Same here. We have two. 22&23. Love all of the extra features.

There's a lot of talk on here and in general, online, about how the lariat isn't "worth it" and "you're turning a 20k truck into a 50k truck" etc. But has anyone genuinely regretted getting the lariat? I'm asking for 2 reasons,

1. This is anecdotal, but I would make the decision again in a heartbeat. I love it, and i love every extra little feature it includes. I think the argument that I could get a ranger for the same price is a stupid argument because I don't need the extra capability of a ranger and I want the extra features that wouldn't come with a base model ranger. It's like asking why wouldn't someone get a mustang instead of a miata. Some people just want the miata.
2. I frequently see people spend more money modifying their trucklets to copy a Lariat than had they just gone with it in the first place. 1000$ seat covers, thousands in speaker upgrades, diy wireless charging/400w bed plug etc etc. Seems like they should have just got the lariat in the first place.
What are your guys thoughts?

I don't regret but what I'm pissed about is, the Lariat doesn't get the pasinger power seat. The vehicle is made in Mexico, they can't afford do that?

What... it doesn't - I have changed my mind! Just kidding, I knew that when I bought it. I am always in the driver's seat, and I don't think I have moved the seat since I set it up after I took possession (and I always drive)!

Nope. Love my '24 Lariat. Who in the world paid $50K for a Lariat?

do you still have that window sticker? something isn't right about your comparison.

all hybrids were cheap in MY22, and you could get a non-lux lariat which ceased to be an option in MY24. but I still doubt that a '22 hybrid lariat could be anywhere near 28k out the door unless you're ignoring a trade-in or something odd like that.
I never said I owned a hybrid, all 4 Mavericks were eco boosts. My 1st Lariat ordered on 6/1/21 was a FWD with 4k, well Ford never offered that option after they went into production so they comped me the AWD via private offer (I think it was $2200) and I paid 4% under invoice plus my military discount so it was 28 OTD. I did have to pick it up in Philly.

I see this word a lot in these forums. "regret".

What does that actually mean? Don't you know what you're buying? I'd certainly hope so if you're willing to drop 40k after tax, title, and license on a highly trimmed, basic truck.

This is a rhetorical comment. There is no answer - some will never be happy in any vehicle they purchase.
Bingo! Lots of henny pennies who have difficulty making a decision and will always find regrets. Also, lots of people who overthink things trying to get the biggest bang for the buck, then regret pinching too many pennies. Then there are the few wise decisive people who know exactly what they want and save thousands by not over-specing the truck that fits their needs.

Just bought a Lariat. So far, very happy. Son has a relatively new Ranger replacing his much, much older one. I'm too old and decrepit to easily climb into the current Rangers. Lariat and old Rangers are fine.

wanted a lariat, ordered a lariat, will be happy with a lariat. even if i don't use every little extra all the time i'll be glad they are there when i want them. like you said, pay and get it, or pay more just to add things on. same with the 4k tow package. i don't have a 4k trailer i'll be towing right now, but i might some day and i'll be glad i spent that extra money now than regret it later.

i've always ordered my vehicles with all the bells and whistles and never regretted it. i can afford it, might as well enjoy it while i'm here. can't take it with me when i'm gone. the family can fight over who gets it. 🤣

I got a great deal on my Lariat Tremor, for essentially the same price of the XLT Tremor ($6 more a month same terms) so no I don’t regret it. But it wasn’t worth the stress to get to here.
