Being the middle child in the Maverick family, has anyone regretted getting one ?

It's not as cool as the first born, and forgotten after the third one pops out. Not great at anything

Ordered my '23 XLT FX4 4K as soon as the order bank opened, took delivery 6 months or so later, and immediately regretted "under ordering". Missed push to start and intelligent access, power & heated seat, etc. Ordered a '24 Lariat once that order bank opened.

Nope! Bought a used '22 XLT with luxury package (heated seats, wheel and side mirrors). Love the interior. Everything works and the mileage is insane. Thinking about adding the '25 Eruption Green XLT as a second car, but will have to wait for a used one-if that even happens. LOL

Love my XLT. It has everything I wanted. I don't like leather, heated seats, don't like the larger rim size and I would never use the tiny rear window. Only thing I would want from the Lariat are the headlights and the pro trailer assist.

Love my XLT with the options I chose (see signature).

I didn't want fake leather seats, didn't need sliding rear window, preferred the interior color scheme, and hate cruise control that changes its own setting automatically, I have all the features i want and none I don't. That's why I ordered it.

But why ask? What difference does it make to you that i like my truck and some other fool doesn't like theirs? What do YOU want?

Seems like some people are prone to buyer's remorse, and others never regret any well-thought decision since it's seen as a lack of critical thinking skills. I tend to be in the second group.

Only thing I miss is push button start. Everything else is exactly as I wanted/expected. Except I have a love/hate relationship with Alto Blue. After 6 Black vehicles this is the hardest to keep looking nice.

I have a 24 xlt luxury with tremor package. Only got it over a lariat because it was a tremor and my old car was flooded out in Helene and was rushed to get a new vehicle. I miss push button start, satellite radio, and the adaptive cruise control. But it’s a cheap truck so what did I expect.

MSRP under 28k with heated seats, mirrors and steering wheel. XL had no cruise control when I ordered and the Lariat is not a good value for a Maverick. I was not interested in upgrading an XL with aftermarket or OEM stuff. I use all of the XLT features including back seat arm rest cup holders.

Paid cash, it was within the budget with the LUX package. I do not need, nor want a lot of the extras that come with the lariat but I hate the steelies and no arm rest in the back and no locking tail gate on the LX.

I have a 25 XLT with the upgrades I wanted. I felt that going with the Lariat I was paying more for features I didn't care about. The only feature I couldn't get that I would have liked is smart cruise control. My last vehicle had it and I really liked it.
