Well, it is the same OP that implied those who bought EB Mavericks did so because they were settling. And couldn't possibly be because of preference.

So, not a stretch to say there were some conclusions being jumped to again here.

TBF though, I agree we'll probably never see an EV Maverick. In 20-30 years or more it'll be a different small EV truck more likely, if at all.

I saw I think the same youtube video about them shutting down all EV production. I was show me the proof I made on comment on youtube. One quick look at chevy web page show Future vehicles coming soon several EV models. Now with that said. EV sales have dropped including in CA .Ford cant sell the mach E very well. Easy to see at any dealer now.

I think its a niche market that is about full now. Guess will see over the next few years if the EV sales plummet even more. My GUESS they do. Again its my guess.

As far as any new batteries with super range. Don't fall for that BS. It just like the BS you read about Fusion. Its all smoke and mirrors till its really out. I have seen web sights on solid state batteries now for 2 years all claiming they have it solved. All turned out to be BS.

The bolt was pretty affordable with that tax credit. If it was easy to get when I needed it I would have bought one.

If auto manufacturers can produce compact but still fun to drive EVs like that at a reasonable price I'll be in soon enough.

I don’t want EV’s to fail, I want them to succeed. I want the market and consumer demand to decide when and where they make sense. I want government completely out of that. I don’t want government punishing companies for not doing them and I don’t want government rewarding companies for doing them.
I do believe there could be a roll for government in helping with supporting infrastructure in areas where that makes sense.

Again let me say I like them and could see myself getting one but that doesn’t mean they are right for everyone. They are not right for everyone and that has nothing to do with a certain news channel as some here seem to think.

Nobody is buying these things anymore.

Toyota was one of the few manufacturers to be honest with themselves, and the public, about the future of EV’s, when they announced no plans to replace ICE/hybrids with EV’s.
