you could also buy a more modern mini remote for $20 that has a built sun visor clip.

I clip my Genie remote (similar size, but older 1-button unit) to the front edge of my center console. You would never notice it was even there unless you looked.

Two sided tape and put it in the cubby.

I used a 3M Command adhesive strip (removable) in the cubby. Remove the remote's visor clip, first.

Haven't had good luck with velcro sticking
in car but I didn't research it lately.

Works great, just like a oem mirror in my opinion.

All the KIA mirrors I see have the attaching screw in the center of the mount where the stock mirror has it lower. Did you have any problem attaching the mirror to your Maverick?

To my eyes it looks like the screw sits in the same spot. I had no issues attaching it, The only problem I had is I'm tall so I sit higher in the seat in the mirror didn't raise high enough being the adjustable piece so I added a extension or a adapter to get the mirror to sit away from the plastic mounted to the windshield more.

I found it on eBay for $10 worked like a charm. It extends the mirror out roughly a half inch, for better up adjustment.

I had to shorten the metal clip a bit since it bottoms out in the latch recess, but I find this has been really convenient and invisible to casual observation.

I keep my mini remote handy but hidden on my drivers door. I can reach it without moving/removing anything.
Hopefully, it keeps the lowlifes that may break in from showing up at the house after grabbing the remote along with the registration, proof of insurance, etc.. that most people keep in their glove compartment.
