Or if their "full size" spare is on the standard maverick XL 17x7 rim , then just buy an el cheapo radial in the same size as your other tires add the TPMS sensor and mount it. Or drive around w the donut under the back until you come across a wrecked one of these being salvaged and grab it's full sized wheel.

And you got one. It is FULL size not Donut Size.

Nothing stated on the order that the FULL size had to match exactly to the four other tires.

Note though that a spare tire might have different specifications than you’re other functioning tires.
MIght…. But if you order a “FULL SIZE” spare, then it SHOULD be a FULL size as what is on the vehicle, not what they want to give you.

Well as usual the devil is in the details! Full size does not mean same size unfortunately. However I will go out tomorrow and take a peek at mine, mine is a hybrid with the standard 17-in wheel tire combo but I won't be surprised if it is smaller than the Continentals that are on the other four rims. On the positive side however my 2003 Dodge ram left my driveway with the same spare tire that I got from the factory and my 2013 Toyota Tacoma left my driveway with the same spare tire that came from the factory so hopefully you will never have to use it!

It’s close enough to full size to keep you moving at a good clip down the highway. No donut spares for me.

possibly a true full size won’t fit underneath. Regardless it’s big enough

Does it really matter ? Most times, even if it’s a true full size they are a different brand so going to have to replace the others if flat is a write off anyway or if tread is low on other 3 then same deal.

point is it keeps you moving at speed so you don’t have to limp.

Looks like all Mavericks come with two different spare tires:

1. a space saver spare tire, donut, or temporary tire, size T155/70D17
2. If you purchase a hybrid or pay extra for a so called "Full Size Spare" surprise, the size is 215/60R17 . This is not the same as the OEM tire/rim on any Maverick.

Please note, the spare does not have a Ford OEM TPMS factory sensor.

This information is shown on the Placard located on the driver side door jam.

If your looking for a true "Full Size Spare" size 225/65R17, we have 3 like new with delivery miles, factory OEM Maverick 17" Steel wheel / Continental tire combo. This wheel/tire combo comes with the Ford OEM TPMS factory sensor and will be immediately recognized by your vehicle. Buy one (1) Ford Maverick Wheel and Tire combo and you will get a FREE New Gentex Homelink Auto Dimming Mirror with Compass. Easy to install and looks factory OEM. No more using a separate remote/clicker to open 3 Garage Doors, Entry Gates, or activate Homelink compatible Light systems.

Size 17" x 7
Bolt Pattern 5 x 108mm
Tire Brand: Continental ProContact TX
Tire Size: 225/65R17
Treadware rating of 500

Located in the North Atlanta Georgia area. Please send a message/conversation if interested. $199 local pickup. However, if you have the ability to have shipped at your expense, we will assist in any way possible.

Curious if anyone has the size for the spare on the Lariat. It comes with 18" wheels.

I'm ok in the short run with a glorified donut, since it's part of the 360 package for me anyhow. If it will fit under the truck I would like to get a tire thats the same outside dimensions as the other 4 when I get a chance though, preferably on an 18" rim.
I just got a flat on my 2024 lariat hybrid and I was told I have a full size spare but when I lowered it down from under the bed of the truck it is not a donut but the size is 215/60/R17 and the factory tires on my truck are 225/60/R18.
My question is why is the so called full size Spare smaller then the factory tires that came with the truck.

There are many posts on this already. Basically spares are:
1) Donut - 155/70/17
2) Ford's full size spare 215/60/17 - on steel rim(same rims that come with XL)

If you want true full size:
1) Swap out the Ford's full size spare with a 225/65/17
2) Buy 1 wheel from many XL owners who swapped out for the alloy rims
3) If you want exact, you need to go find another rim and exact tire

Note: The full size spare does fit the spare wheel well under the truck

NOPE....because they don't define what the term "Full Size" means or is compared to. "Full size" to Ford....and most of the public means - Bigger than just a doughnut spare. This is a Full Size argument you would never win in a courtroom. Remember...."I heard a Ruckus. Can you describe the Ruckus?? If I ordered a Full Size spare, and they gave me a dug nut....then yeah...I complain to Ford.

Another term I have heard is "Full Service" spare.
