I bought a new tire for the spare to match. The tire shop that took it off didn't even want the spare tire for FREE. Thats how worthless it is.

Why? What brand and size is the spare? Any closeup photos showing UTQG , speed rating, etc?

Is the rim a match as far as style, and is it sparkle silver like the XL standard wheel?

Looks like all Mavericks come with two different spare tires:

1. a space saver spare tire, donut, or temporary tire, size T155/70D17
2. If you purchase a hybrid or pay extra for a so called "Full Size Spare" surprise, the size is 215/60R17 . This is not the same as the OEM tire/rim on any Maverick.

Please note, the spare does not have a Ford OEM TPMS factory sensor.

I will probably pull a continental off my XLT takeoffs along with the TPMS sensor and put it on my "full size" spare rim.
