Unless your CV axles are failing you don’t need to go in. Not that big a job, they take wheels off and replaced the failed axle. It’s an extended warranty on the axles for 10 years from the date of purchase or 150k, whichever comes first.

Thanks. I’m not experiencing any problems and it’s only 2 years old with 15 thousand kilometres. I can ride it out until or if anything happens.

CV joints on Mavericks have had many issues but use caution on the Dealer. One Dealer I went to could not find an issue while another found it immediately and Ford paid for parts and labor to replace both.

I thought 25N09 only applied to some 2022 Mavericks. Has this been expanded to 2024?
Of course no searches are turning up an updated CSP to include additional years.
At least not yet.

And to skip 2023, and go to 2024?
Doesn't make sense, unless it was just updated to include them all.
I got no notice though!!!
(though I was informed of the new AI assistant. and in DSM...)

What makes more sense is some goof ball tagged a list of VIN's to be sent that notice in Ford app.
And of course it doesn't apply.
That goofball of course being a person or AI agent they are using.

The odd thing that I forgot to mention is that this came with the trailer module update also, just now! A little late no? But that’s Ford Canada! 🤷🏼‍♂️

had a failing one replaced on my '22 hybrid - the symptoms are subtle as first but eventually they are very noticeable on heavy acceleration getting on xway - even if you don't have any symptoms you should probably take it in at YOUR convenience (make sure they have the parts in stock) - for mine it was a couple hour job so if they have their act together and the parts in the building you should be out that day. If you wait til you have symptoms then it's possible they won't have them in stock (this had been a problem...) and you'll have to drive it with the vibration - and eventually if the vibs are too much it's not safe to drive it .

Welllllll - maybe there was something that happened in Canada that forced Ford's hand to extend to 24MY.
I'd say try to get the details, check email if you have one on file with Ford account, and look for that letter if your address is on file.
(for recalls, those things are more reliable than the app)

Or is there a better description in the Ford app notice?
Never seen a recall there or anything like that there, so not sure what they provide, like the letter attachment...

It should, they are the same garbage Hyundai units.
