Hey @Toinky I have another easy mode change you can add if you want!

Average Speed Display
IPC
Enable Average Speed Display

With this enabled, now you need to enable it on the Maverick's dash. Go into the Instrument Cluster's trip menu under configure view and click ok on Average Speed (Trip Menu can only track 4 things at a time). Not sure how useful this is but now you can track your Average Speed in trip 1 or trip 2!

Here is a link to a thread I made for this CODING FIND

I just found a coding to enable the Ford Performance MYVIEW digital speedo on the 4 inch instrument cluster. I also found a coding to make it your default MYVIEW screen so you don't have to keep switching back to it every time you go for a drive. ONLY WORKS FOR 4 INCH CLUSTER!

ENABLE FORD PERFORMANCE MYVIEW
1. Open IPC AS BUILT
2. Go to 720-17-02
3. Replace the second digit with a "5" as shown here

x5xx-xxxx

4. Write the changes and let Forscan correct the checksum

MAKE FORD PERFORMANCE MYVIEW DEFAULT
1. Open IPC AS BUILT
2. Go to 720-17-01
3. Replace the tenth digit with a "6" as shown here

xxxx-xxxx-x6xx

4. Write the changes and let Forscan correct the checksum

Here are some pictures of this screen and a picture of my original coding compared to the new coding!

Hey @Toinky I successfully disabled auto start stop in EZ mode thanks to @Rokan and @Gregk ! You can add this one too if you want! I confirmed that the change in Easy Mode makes the same exact coding change as the as built coding does linked here. Follow the instructions below!

DISABLE AUTO START STOP
1. Open PSCM (easy mode)
2. Disable Start Stop

There'll be a lot of people happy about this one. (I for one like the stop/start function, but I'm used to it having owned hybrid SUVs for years.) I do find it odd that this function is in the Power Steering Control Module, but hey, I'm not a Ford engineer. I posted it up front. Thanks once more @EONR24.

I was able to add TSR on my 23 Lariat FX4 Eco following these steps. Thank you!

Mine was already disabled, but I did put in the other tweaks you listed. Good work!

There is lots of useful information on MTC about using Forscan to make interesting and useful changes to the computer modules in our trucks. This post is not about using Forscan software or programming devices--you can find that information as a sticky in the Forscan forum.

This post is for those who don't speak hexadecimal* or are otherwise hesitant to change as-built codes (or for anyone who wants to make a quick change). I have compiled several changes you can make using "easy" (not as-built) mode. Instead of selecting a module through an as-built entry, look below it and there will be a module with the same name, but not as-built (not in all cases). Connect to that module. It's the same module, just named and accessed differently. The difference is that entries are in plain English [mostly]. Be sure to write the changes. Before doing any of these changes back up your as-built modules. Use at your own risk, of course, but these changes have all done well for me. I've included links in MTC for where more information can be found on these Forscan edits.
[*I know changing as-built modules does not require actually understanding hexadecimal--it's a figure of speech.]

Adding Drive Modes
1. Enter ABS module and search for SDM
2. For SDM - ABS disable it
3. Depending which package you have installed enable the following if any say disabled
SDM - Mode 11 (Sport)
SDM - Mode 4 (Sand)
SDM - Mode 5 (Mud)
SDM - Mode 9 (Eco)
4. Check the DTC codes to see if you threw one

I created this thread to help others not have to cull through all the various threads and posts with lots of replies and superfluous information. Please feel free to add to this list of Forscan edits, but it would be good to stay true to the attempt to include only instructions for easy mode.

Has anyone figured out how to use FORscan to enable the "stick on" remote entry keypad? Is this something the FORscan developers could be asked to add if possible??? THX

As for the device that can set a mode for you at start up, I searched around and found this:

The battery remote keypad can be done in FDRS (FORD SOFTWARE) but I might buy one and give it a try with forscan. Also there is a device on eBay that others really like for drive modes https://www.ebay.com/itm/275967879719

Thanks for everyone’s work on this. I was able to get tsr, eco coach and the ST splash screen working on my 23 XLT lux.

with the eco coach screen it says I get 0.0 mpg when I’m done driving. Is there a way to get actual numbers there?

Same here on my MY24 XL hybrid, the eco coach screen it says I get 0.0 mpg when I’m done driving. I wish there was a better option for the hybrid economy display. I have tried all the currently available options and still not happy with the lack of system status or information. I like the digital speedometer with the blue circle, but would like it to tell when it is electric only or ICE and battery capacity or SOC.

Not sure why it is not showing MPG. I know you can disable or enable the eco coach "goodbye" screen in the cluster which is nice. I found this coding. Maybe one of you could test it to see if it does anything o fix the situation!
