Most of the drivers who ride my A$$ coming to a turn, and having a clear lane to move over but refuse too move over. Of these the majority by a wide margin are women. I slow down more before turning when my A$$ is being ridden.
Have you tried driving faster? Or can your old eyes not process the rate in which things come at you when traveling the blistering speed of the posted speed limit?

Oh this makes sense, 4 wheels really takes away any excitement. For me, I have couple street motorcycles and a couple race motorcycles, so for mundane driving tasks, might was well get a little extra comfort while I drive. But not everyone has bikes so they have to try to grasp for any excitement 4 wheels can bring. So I can understand why you feel this way.

55mph one lane each way medium traffic roads through rural parts in between towns, having your car just maintain it's following distance to the car in front of you without requiring any input is a nice feature to have. Especially as someone who likes to use normal cruise and gets frustrated when I can't because people are incapable of maintaining a constant speed.

It's a quality of life improvement I look forward to enjoying.

Sorry, I don't drive like an a$$. And when i slow down it hurts less if i get rammed in the rear. At age 68 I have 20/30 vision without glasses. I take no medications.

Proper following distance is the #1 safety thing in my world. Was rear ended 25 years ago and my neck can still hurt on occasion. The 1/4 second saved by tailgaiting creates a lot of accidents.

I ordered my Mav 1-1/4 years ago and just got it about 3 weeks ago. I have the assist...turned off. Most of my driving is in light to no traffic. What surprised me was that Ford has decided to remove navigation from its vehicles. I got the Lariat, no nav! Found out after the fact that they are doing away with it as so many people have access to their phone synced in and have other options. Kinda p'd me off! Pretty pleased with the baby truck overall, though.

These Nanny Safety Features reduce ones driver skills slowly over time. Out on the road I see so many people, 65% who are women, who have no clue on how to do a proper lane change. Most probably have mis-adjusted mirrors, that show the side of their vehicle, not the road beside the car. They are so scared that they don't or won't change lanes. IME
Somehow though, women drivers have lower insurance premiums indicating they're generally safer (Where safer is being defined in dollars)

Hmmmmm. Something something anecdotal evidence

I never once ordered factory nav. Never cared for it. I prefer using a Garmin, followed by my phone synced to my vehicle.

Yes, but I thought it was the re-order on 9/?/22 that got the schedule for 12/19. The re-order would be an unscheduled ‘22, not a scheduled ‘22 that is being cancelled.
The ’22s that got scheduled, but not built (ie cancelled ‘22s) were originally assigned a December date. Those were moved out to January so ‘23s can be built in December.
My 2022 hybrid XLT with 4pin recv and inverter was originally scheduled for 9/n/22 was bumped several times and finally to 12/19 and now is a 2023 with private offer awaiting for scheduling. I do not know of course but suspect op's 23 since it got rescheduled to 12/19 might have been reordered by him and/or dealer as an original 2023 but no way for us to really know at this point.

Can someone explain why the cp360 and 360a proponents are sooooo adamant about those options? Personally I’d rather not have them. No repairs in the future and nothing intrusive when i drive. I just want to drive. That said, why do some like these features so much?
I, for one, like staying alive, and the ACC and CP360 and BLIS just may help me someday do exactly that. I've driven all kinds of vehicles, learned on a wrecker, drove a tour bus, F650, and went from coast to coast many, many times on tour. I think I'm an excellent driver, but I'll take the help.

What happened to the first order when you made the second order, was it canceled?
When you did the 9/? order it would have been for a MY23 which dropped the CP360. Sounds like you dealer didn't tell you or add it back and now that you're scheduled you're locked and it cannot be added in. Dealer is right it was removed by Ford from the MY23 package but if you or the dealer didn't think to add it back in it's lost. Was it added back in?
Trying to get back on topic as well instead of the hijack debate over safety features.

I believe this is correct. The dealer did not know of the package split. They are trying to claim fault by Ford for removing it, but sounds like fault on dealer for not ordering it. I'd be curious if the OP ever got a build sheet or DORA showing Copilot Assist
