So it looks like if you want CO-PILOT360 Assist you have to pay for both on the Lariat Lux:

CO-PILOT360 Assist $750

CO-PILOT360 $650

Not sure if its worth it, comments, opinions?

Worth every penny. I have the 360 assist on both my 2021 Edge and 2021 Transit Connect...I use it constantly and would not be without it.

I feel there’s 2 camps to this. Either 100% for it or 100% against.

I’ve turned everything off in every car I’ve owned. Im sure my opinion would probably be different if I was driving on the highway every day but 2 lane suburban roads and city driving, I will pass.

That is also true on 2022 Lariat models. Only difference is the assist features were standard on the Lariat Lux package for 2022 Lariat models.

CP360 has features I have never had before. Lane assist and adaptive cruise control. My current vehicle has back up sensors, cross traffic sensors and side mirror sensors that light up if someone is in the blind spot. Do you need those? Nope. Do I use them almost every time I drive? Yep. Have they most likely saved me from an accident? Yep.

I know people who flatly will not use them and "don't need no car to tell me how to drive". Good for them. I'm getting older and I'll take all the help I can get. Things move a lot faster today than they used to. People are distracted while driving and do dumb stuff all the time. People are just ruder and drive more aggressively than they used to. So yeah, I'll take all the help I can get.

My daily commute round trip is 110 miles. 50 miles interstate, and 50 miles of 4 lane rural U.S road system. I made sure to get CP360 and CP360 assist on my order.

Had to have assist. I just rented an Explorer Limited that had adaptive cruise and lane centering. Just plan works, smooth and slick. Ford has the best of those systems of any brand I've driven (and that's a bunch).

The cost of the split packages isn't much more than before. I think they are doing it to remove some of the constraints from people who don't want some of the features than a money grab.

My feelings about the actual features/functionality in the packages? Totally worth paying SOMETHING for.

My feelings about the actual specific cost associated and that you have to order two separate packages to get all the features? Totally NOT worth it.

The cars that I've been with adaptive cruise control and how easy it is on a road trip has made me want it even more. I would say worth the extra money, sadly wish they would have kept the same lux pack from 2022.

Assuming I can find a dealer to place my order, I have elected to go with the 360 CP Assist. The adaptive cruise control and lane centering sealed the deal. I love adaptive cruise control both on road trips and in rush hour traffic. Assist also adds rear parking sensors. My teenager driver backed into someone despite the car having a 7" back up camera. My hope is the sensors will prevent that from ever happening again.
