do you know which side is the metered side? This has more to do with the BMS. It's just important to attach accessories to the metered side of the post so the "computer" or BMS sees the draw of said accessory otherwise it will never compensate for that draw.
Non terminal side, it's an ammeter I believe so if you attach it to the terminal it won't register the currentdo you know which side is the metered side?
Ford F150 , Ford Explorer and Ford Escape 2022 and Ford bronco have this switch and will work with the mavericsNice.
I was wonder if one could get a switch from an Escape (or Bronco Sport) that has fogs. The center of the dial presses. Just not sure if that is a separate connection, like what you did.
Correct I’m using the jjc brackets. I usually just run the yellows. I have the whites aimed higher, about the level of the high beams. They’ll definitely blind other drivers so I don’t run them if there are any other cars around.@Dodeboost
Looks like you bought the JJC kit. You run the clear and yellow at the same time?
Good to know. Thanks!Correct I’m using the jjc brackets. I usually just run the yellows. I have the whites aimed higher, about the level of the high beams. They’ll definitely blind other drivers so I don’t run them if there are any other cars around.
Very slick! Super good look to your install. Thanks for not only pioneering this mod, but taking the time and effort to share your experience in such detail. Clearly, you're the Daniel Boone of Maverick modifications! Finally got my switches done. I used a Cali raised dual light bar switch meant for Toyotas. The switch is only rated to 3 amps so I used relays. I had to remove the screen to get the wires into the cubby which was a bit unnerving but it’s not that hard. You have to pull on it pretty hard and I ended up breaking a few of the clips. Found a YouTube video by the channel Gear Experiments which shows how to do this. I ran the wires in through the grommet on the drivers side firewall, under the center console, up behind the glove box and to the cubby. Removing the glove box makes this easier. I made the carbon fiber face plate and used epoxy resin meant for table tops as the top coat.

Thanks! I was wondering skidazzle was lol.Nice setup, got to love what you can do with these trucks. On a side note, cant believe they are still running SkiDazzle. That was 30 plus years ago that my buddies and I went. I miss the South Bay. (Redondo)
Do you think you might want to put a leans cover over them, just to protect and make it easy to clean?Very slick! Super good look to your install. Yeah I was just looking at them. They’re 10$ each and you can get amber, clear, or black. The lenses are also replaceable on these and you can switch up the beam pattern and color.Do you think you might want to put a leans cover over them, just to protect and make it easy to clean?
