Dumb question.

I have an XLT w/ lux hybrid. What tires am i going to get?

Is there any way to know if the tires will have the white lettering on them?

I hope they change from Pirelli. You might be fine in the sunshine state, but they are garbage in snow. They handle wet and dry okay, look good, but are ice skates in the frozen stuff. I am planning on switching them out immediately. I didn't get AWD FX4 to slide around this winter. Hate spending the money but Falken and Cooper make some really good A/T tires that aren't horrible price wise, plus I may jump up to the 235 from the 225. Add some beef and height.

Yeah I was just looking at Falken on tirerack says it's the original equipment...

That being said this is the wrong size from what ford says for the xlt...
Mine came with WildPeaks 235/65 17s straight from the factory.

The Pirelli's are good cornering tires, but they are too soft for US highways. I ran them on my '58 150 Jag and they were fine but I scrubbed them off in 12000 miles. They help cornering because they are soft and sticky but too soft for most US highways, and not worth a darn if there are potholes.

Ha, that's the only scratch on all four wheels. I'm blaming my wife that that one. 😁
Do they make curb feelers for the Maverick? Maybe you should get some for your wife.:)

The headline of this post said OEM wheel specs but I haven't seen the weight of the 18" factory alloys. Has anyone weighed these yet w/o tires?? Thanks!

Don't know why I can't post in aftermarket wheels, but here it is... RTX Concord 17X7.5 38 offset with factory XL/XLT tires on XL Hybrid. Traded in a 2015 F-150 XLT Supercab 4X4 3.5 Ecoboost. Lots to like here.
