I don't see how...look at the wheel center of the black ones on the FX4 vs the machined 17's...the offset is clearly different as the bolts are nearly flush with the face of the wheel but the machined wheels are recessed from the face of the wheel.

Can anyone verify the actual dimensions or post a photo of the back of the wheels where the offset and dimensions are stamped?

Too many to list.

Its an optical illusion caused by the larger, beefier tires. They are the same offset.

Looking at continental website they don't offer a Continental Procontact TX in a/t or any all terrain tire at 225/65r17 they do offer TerrainContact™ A/T in 225/60r17 is this the actual tire on our fx4 mavs? Or is it the perrelli scorpion a/t in 225/65 r17 ? Just curious trying to decide if I will look into new tires or not to have ready.

To be honest I'd rather have the continental terraincontact over the perrelli

How much would putting P235 R18's affect MPG?

I hope they change from Pirelli. You might be fine in the sunshine state, but they are garbage in snow. They handle wet and dry okay, look good, but are ice skates in the frozen stuff. I am planning on switching them out immediately. I didn't get AWD FX4 to slide around this winter. Hate spending the money but Falken and Cooper make some really good A/T tires that aren't horrible price wise, plus I may jump up to the 235 from the 225. Add some beef and height.

It will fit, a little beefier but not that much to cause an issue

Ok It appears that the procontact TX in 225/65/R17 has at least 2 I'd numbers (different production runs?) I found drilling down from "not your size? Click to find yours" procontact TX box. So since the TX line are at least initially new equipment tires no one has bought them in this size before and not sold retail yet.
